Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Durant, an IHG Hotel

The staff were amazing, very helpful ….would recommend this place to my family and friends

The hotel was immaculate, the service was excellent, and the breakfast was fresh and delicious. The only issue I had was folks with kids needed to be placed on the 1st floor only and all other guests placed on the upper level. No fault of the Hotel , matter of policy change.

Our stay was not great. We got no sheets and blankets or pillows for the pull out couch. We had to go to Walmart and purchase a blanket for our kids to sleep. We also received no towels, we had to purchase our own towels from Walmart as well. I told the manager and he could care less. Our pillow case had was dirty as well. This not the standard we are use to with the Holidays inn.

I was expecting that the facility will be a smoke free hotel. To our dismay, the room that we stayed was a terribly smelly, disgusting odor of cigarettes. The smell of that room was beyond tolerable. We arrived past midnight and I dont have the strength anymore to rant coz my family had laid down already. And the smell 9f the room seeps in even in the sheets and bed cover. What a mess and I end up sleeping with my mask on coz it was just unbearable. The day I checked out, I was told that the previous occupant of the room had the same complaint and they just forgot to block that specific room 210 for them to clear/clean out that smelly room. The concierge representative Chevy, she is the best! I appreciate her how she deal and manage the issue with professionalism.
