Holiday Inn Express & Suites DFW - Grapevine, an IHG Hotel

One night family stay before departing airport. Clean hotel with fast and friendly check in.

Property (carpet, walls, etc.) a bit outdated but clean and presentable. Not the typical standard of other newer Holiday Inn Express properties I stay at, but no complaints. Fine for business travelers or family.

My family and I had the pleasure of being checked in by Madison. She was very welcoming, courteous and efficient. Thank you Madison!

Our room was above a commercial trash can which they began throwing boxes and material into it very very early which woke the kids about 6:30 am. The room was lovely and the free breakfast was delicious! So easy to get to from Legoland!!

The management canceled the airport shuttle without letting us know. We were left stranded at the airport and ruined our family's New Year Eve. Rhonda Meade, the assistant general manager, lied and said she would fairly handle this situation. She just cast my family off. Don't stay there.

We came from out of town and this property is just unbelievable! We are here for a business trip but I brought my family with me. 1. For parents there’s no crib/pack n play in this property. The front desk said it is a safety violation for their hotel. It was my first time staying at a Holiday inn but I never had this in any other hotels and I travel for work so this is the first experience I ever had this problem! 2.When we got to the room we didn’t have time to check the shower until we actually took a shower the next day and there were hairs and pubes in the shower curtain and hairs by the tub! It was disgusting! Now I had to clean because we need to be somewhere and I do not have time to wait for housekeeping to to clean it! I had to take the kids a bath and us so this is unbelievable! 3.The last experience that is unacceptable is when I need to get another set of card keys. Mind you,we booked 3 rooms! One stayed one night and the other 2 rooms was for us for 2 nights however, the 3rd room was initially booked for 1 night and we just extended 1 more night. The frontdesk (Jennifer) said “I’m so confused you are not the name I see on room 214, and There is someone else in room 209 and clearly they got things messed up because when we arrived they put us in a room with 1 bed (rm.239) and the reservation was for 2 queens so the previous lady who checked us in moved us to rm.209 where we stayed for the night then the next day I asked for keys is when I came across Jennifer!

Hotel meant all of our expectations, from the staff at the desk to the housekeeping staff to the attendant that manages the breakfast. Staff was very attentive. Staff was very professional and courteous. Attendant that manages the breakfast was very responsive and kept the dining room clean and kept the food well supplied eventhough there were a lot fo fotoball kids eating them. Jeanette and Veronica at the desk was great and polite. Hotel is clean and in superb condition. Close proximity to Grapevine and area restaurants, easy access from freeway. Thank you for making a difference in our getaway experience.

We were in town to visit our children and grandchildren. Great location to attend all sporting activities over the weekend.

The hotel was nice. The lobby and rooms were very clean. The staff was nice and the breakfast was great. We were visiting family so we did not use the hotel much beyond a place to sleep and a good hot breakfast but the location was easy to get in and out of and our stay was enjoyable.

The price was what got us into the hotel, but the amenities are what will bring us back. The room was nice with a huge LCD HDTV, the pool was cool and refreshing while it was 100 degrees outside (it had a large shallow area for kids, too), and the breakfast had a great variety and filled us up. The location is great for visiting Grapevine, Grapevine Mills Mall, or for close access to DFW airport. I would definitely stay here again and will stay at other HIE properties in the future.
