We were visiting family during the solar eclipse. This was our second stay at the hotel. Each time the hotel was very clean, our room was clean. Because we are meeting family we have never experienced breakfast. I expect we will be staying here again!

If you have standards in where you stay this may not be the place to stay. Seems more like a run down budget motel. Noise from kids running around all weekend like heathans. No hair dryer in room or available. Shower tub seemed made of cheap plastic material.

Family trip with disappointments We were in Dallas for a week for family trip. Clean room but dated. Hard bed. Woke next morning to discover we had bar soap but no shampoo etc. We were able to always, everyday pick some up at desk reporting the issue. First night noticed the door and went downstairs to report, they seemed surprised and said it would be repaired next day - which was fine. Well the door lock was not repaired during our week stay. Room and hotel public areas were clean, breakfast was less than normal hotel breakfast at other hotels. It was 5 minutes away from our destination… not sure if we would stay again or at least not in 230. The attempted kicked in door is really inexcusable. Heck at least act surprised or concerned!

If you value your health and money, don't stay here. I would call this a room of horrors, but that would be a compliment. My a/c went out at home, and we were forced to get a hotel. After searching through reviews and pics, and availability, I settled on this "hotel". I did so for the exact reason that ended up occurring anyway, which is due to what I would call "hotel fishing." For a one night stay, king size "suite", I paid $200. I am well aware of the brand La Quinta and what to expect, but when you pay $200, you would hope not to find human bodily fluids resembling blood on the a/c unit. Or the lovely dried urine on the side of the toilet. I also really enjoyed the bed appearing as if someone had literally just got up from a nap. My kids were excited to sit on the homeless camp like sofa, only to be disappointed when I had to yell "DON'T SIT" upon seeing multiple dried bodily fluid stains on the couch. They asked where the crackers were for a snack, because there was trash all over the room and a cracker wrapper on the table. The floor was covered with candy trash, random items, hair. The "office chair" looked like a rottweiler ate it. The doors and walls were covered in stains of all sorts, the handles and desktops covered in disgusting hand prints. Best description would be like a crime scene leftover. I immediately left, went to the front desk to turn the keys, and called the customer service office. I was told they would open the claim for a refund and receive an ema

My family was stuck between a move and we had to find a comfortable space for us and all the traveling bags left out of the moving truck . Staff and hotel stay was the most helpful and understanding . A wonderful team all from the front manager , night staff and room service ladies .

Didn't know there was a pool so that was a great feature for the kids. However, the entire hotel smelling like a chlorine bomb... not so great. The chlorine was SO strong in the pool area, I had to open the door to the parking lot to get relief for my eyeballs. And they were red for an entire day afterwards. You would think, with that much chlorine, the rooms must be spotless. Nope! Looked good but there were gnats everywhere. How did they get in and where were they coming from?? Couldn't figure out the source but they enjoyed my room. The shower was pretty basic... until the entire shower head came flying at my boy's head. That was an unexpected adventure we did not enjoy. And when i mentioned it to front desk at check out, the response "You can just call down and let us know any issue".... it JUST happened... and I'm here... ok... Definitely do not recommend. There was random sticky stuff on the carpet. Stains on the pillows. But... the breakfast was delicious.

I’ve stayed at other La Quinta hotels before and never had a bad experience until this one. We were in the process of moving, and needed an extra night. Miscommunication within the family meant that the request never made it down to the desk. The manager came up to the room, and I apologized for the oversight and asked to extend our stay an additional night. This manager wouldn’t even look at me, and he rolled his eyes when I made the request. He immediately said they were sold out, but then another staff member corrected him. He still didn’t seem like he wanted to help at all. I’m disabled, and both my son and I have visible tattoos and piercings. I really got the impression that he judged us on our appearance and decided we weren’t worth his time.
