The Westin Dallas Stonebriar Golf Resort & Spa

Traveled from Tennessee for a 3 day birthday weekend with my husband. Every staff encounter was pleasant and friendly, from the housekeeping, to the valet attendants. Hotel is worth the price in every aspect, was very clean, and is located in a convenient distance from restaurants and shopping. Also we didn't have to worry about loud urban life all night and were able to rest well. Very pleased with the amenities and the massage therapist was a jewel. We only wished the bathroom was a bit bigger. Oh, and the breakfast was AMAZING. Our only complaint was that one of the breakfast servers was a tad rude at one point and accusatory, at the thought of my husband and I skipping out on our bill every morning. Breakfast was included, but were not aware we needed to get food vouchers from the front desk to present at breakfast, and attempted to back-charge us for the previous days. However the front desk staff gave us vouchers for the days missed and apologized. Lastly, the resort is extremely family friendly and I feel comfortable bringing my toddler, as did other families. My family and I will be staying here for every Dallas trip we make from here on out.

Hats off to Katrina, she was amazing and informative, her manager, hats off again. Clean rooms, service was excellent, food was fabulous, but don't look for coffee after 10pm😔. Bad habit, but this girl just can't use in room coffee makers ugh. Pool was full of people, and still room for more! Seating is hard to find by the pool, so like everyone else, ya better save your seats by 8 am or you'll be without. This hotel participates in resort pass, which means you and your family can come and enjoy the pool and the services they provide for a small fee. Which may infringe upon the guests of the hotel more than they think. That being said, we will be back! Thank you all for an amazing weekend!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Westin Stonebriar! Stayed 3 nights with 2 adults, 2 kids (8 & 10) in a queen room with a balcony. I chose the balcony room not realizing it faces the parking lot instead of the golf course, but it proved very quiet at night as the opposite side of our part of the hotel was directly above the pool area. Our kids really enjoyed the pool and slide. The pool area is shaded fairly well by trees and there are multiple umbrellas and pool lounge chairs to relax on. There were several big groups with kiddos 10-12yrs old that were walking/climbing up the water slide causing other children injury and a “traffic jam” of sorts at the top of the slide. The parents of these children were either not poolside or enjoying drinks and adult conversation. Keep that in mind if you have smaller kiddos! The room was incredibly clean, everything looked new. The cleaning staff was wonderful each day and brought us fresh towels. We ate at Herd and Hearth for breakfast one morning. The portions were plenty for a family of 4 and the large windows look out over the pool area. The front desk staff was wonderful upon check-in/out. We were recommended several activities that were within a 15-20min drive from the resort. If you prefer to leave the resort for meals, there is PLENTY to choose from within 10-15min drive. Overall a wonderful stay at the Westin. My kiddos are already asking when we will be back!

The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and the beds and bedding were high quality. I would definitely stay again and recommend it to friends and family. The hotel also seemed to have a signature scent which was delightful!!

I highly recommend this place! The staff were very accomodating. We had one day in the area and it was full of relaxing fun. We started the morning with a trip to the spa where we had one of the best messages we have ever had with a very knowledgeable staff. We then were shuttled from the hotel to the nearby shops at Legacy west where we had lunch at Legacy Hall. The area around the hotel and really anything within 10 miles of the hotel is safe and family friendly. Very upperclass, multicultural area that appeals to all ages. We will consider this for future stays.

Wonderful property for family’s. Pool is perfect if you have kids. Great service at the pool also lots of employees walking by taking drink orders bringing food watermelon by the pool was perfect on a 105 day. Yummy cocktails great sandwiches etc. rooms nice large property to get away if needed. Love this place

I enjoyed the valet. They were kind, professional and quick. As for the rest of this place, they do not run the AC in the building, only in the rooms. The pool was SO DIRTY, including the cabanas/lounge areas. The dining here tasted incredible, once it finally arrived after an hour and twenty minute wait for our food to get to the table. They did offer us a free alcoholic beverage for having to wait so long, but it was torture listening to the singer play his music as loud as possible for a one-table audience. We were the only people sitting. I still don’t understand how it took so long. Also, the desk staff is beyond useless when you have an issue with your stay. Our AC wasn’t blowing, and it took until 3:30AM for them to finally move us to another room. Which they didn’t give us a key to until the next day. I had to unsafely leave my sleeping child alone in Our room, run down the hall (3 trips total) to the cracked-open door of the new room to put our belongings in, and run back to get him out of the bed. For the price, this place is a nightmare. So sad at the experience we had

Great proximity to the grandscape complex. Pool is very nice and not overcrowded with children. Great girls trip hotel.
