Clean and kid friendly

Upon check in I checked the whole room. After my inspection, I found hair, multiple long strands all over the sheets on one of the beds. The other bed, had stains on the pillow cases. The bathroom trash can had sticky residue all over the inside of it. The tub didn’t look like it’d been wiped down in a while. There were black things on the bathroom wall as if something had flung off of something else and stuck there. There was someone else’s food STILL in the refrigerator AND the clock still had not been changed to the correct time since daylight savings. Leaving me to believe this room was not properly cleaned prior to our check in. I called the front desk for new bedding for both beds and to let them know the room was not clean and they just said they’d have housekeeping come up the following day and that I’d need to come get new sheets from the front desk if I want them. Then, a few days into my trip I requested housekeeping and they never came. I even checked out and booked this hotel again(it was my only option for distance to my family and cost and our flight was cancelled again) linking reservations and they STILL did not clean our room. They finally cleaned our room the day before we were supposed to check out. Staff are kind but I did not like that in the era of COVID my room was not clean.

Was on the second floor. I heard kids on third floor riding the rolling chair until midnight and again at 7 the next morning.

I was very pleased with my stay at Tru.I would highly recommend to family and friends.The only thing was the shower head would not adjust the settings.I think the idea with the squeeze bottles of soaps and lotions and shampoos...Very nice.Would definitely stay again.
