Although I arrived at nearly midnight, check in was rather easy. Room was large and clean, and beds were comfortable. Parking lot was clean and well lit, as was the exterior of the building. Interior was also very clean, with cleaning staff actively working in hallways, lobby and around the breakfast area. Continental breakfast appeared to have a variety. Coffee was good; however, eggs, bacon, sausage, etc. wasn’t on a heating element or even under light and the kids said the sausage was cold. In all, it was a good safe spot to stop on our drive home.

It was very nice place to stay on our way out from Houston to California. It accommodated our family of 6 perfectly. The breakfast was especially good. Make time to visit Balmorhea state park on your stay!

I loved everything and everyone at this property! Everyone was so sweet, helpful and polite and the whole hotel was so very clean and festive! They even had an Elf on the shelf for all the youngsters! Will be back!❤️

Stayed here on the way home from our family road trip with wife and kids. Great stay for a spot with not much around. Hotel was very nice, clean, and safe. Breakfast was excellent. Would stay here again.
