Comfort Suites Fort Stockton

The room was comfortable and spacious. My only complaint was that the pool was not heated (we chose the location to have an indoor pool) nor was the room. The kids mainly stayed in the hot tub since the pool was so cold. The ambient air in the pool area was so cold I was wearing sweats and still freezing so we didn’t get as much use out of the pool as we’d hoped.

We stayed for a night on the way to Big Bend to give our family a break from travel. I am so glad we did. The staff was really helpful and nice. Check in was a breeze. The complimentary was warm, delicious, and had several healthy and filling options for both my carnivore son and my vegetarian daughter. Water pressure was great and room wa spacious and comfy. The two queen beds would have been enough for our family but the pull out couch was a huge plus for the kids! The tv had plenty of channel options, curtains kept all the light out, and the microwave and mini fridge came in handy. I am saving the best for last though-- the indoor pool and hot tub was AMAZING!!!! It was an amazing way to end our day after a day of traveling! The kids were in Heaven! The indoor pool area was surprisingly not muggy at all. It was extremely clean als pool. This hotel is just a few minute drive to a Wal-Mart supercenter and several convenient restaurants, like Domino's, that deliver!

Hotel is pretty new, it's attractive, comfortable, and was great place to stop for the night. There are 6 of us in our family, so had plenty of room for all of us.
