The hotel was fine, but we were a party of 5 and the suite that slept 6 did not work well. It was cramped, there is very little counter space to put belongings; both in the room and in the bathroom, there was only one hook to hang items, and the barndoor to the bathroom did not lock. Just be aware for larger families these rooms are not a good fit. Better for groups of 4 or less. The swimming pool is also tiny. Breakfast ends by 9am, be warned. The hotel was clean and the service was great by the staff.

Check-in time was at 1500 but only one of the two rooms that I reserved was ready. When we checked into the first room, the clerk told us that we could have a seat in the lobby to wait for the second room. I informed her that we would wait in the available room and expected her to call me when the second room was ready. I cleaned my room, that’s right, I’m one of those people, and was able to rest a bit until the other members of my party arrived. We went down to the front desk to ask about the second room and were informed that the room still wasn’t ready. The excuse was that the cleaning crew was inadequately staffed. My party wasn’t alone in being affected by the staff shortage. I asked of our position on the waiting list. It was then that I discovered that we weren’t on a list, the receptionist wasn’t even aware that we were waiting for a room! After having waited for 2.5 hours for the room to be cleaned, I asked to speak with the manager. I was told that she, Tracy, had left. Not a good look for a manager to leave a situation like this. That’s like the captain fleeing a sinking ship. The room was finally ready at 1814 and we were able to check in. The hotel is conveniently located. As far as the cleanliness of the room is concerned, it was okay. I appreciated the fact that our room had a walk-in shower as opposed to a shower & bathtub combo. The beds were comfortable and the room was quiet. My grandkids enjoyed the indoor pool. The breakfast was okay.
