Microtel Inn and Suites Eagle Pass

It was a great experience ! My family and loved this hotel!

Facility was very clean. Problem was that when i made reservation it said i could pay when there. When i get there cash was not acceptable. I had to pay it all on my card and could not split cost with a family member. It should have said on the site that cash was not accepted.

Very nice family atmosphere. I will be staying there next time I am visiting Eagle Pass .

Place was filthy sheets were stained ,place is nothing like the pictures on website AC would'nt cool and our room had 2 phones in it both didn't work. But it was close to the casino for 250$ its a rip off. I wouldn't bring kids her isn't clean plus they wouldn't be up for the hot room.

The room was very clean and appealing but on the small side, I felt like I was in a cruise ship cabin. Continental breakfast the next morning was decent, nothing special and NO waffle maker, I have always had a waffle at other hotels here in Eagle Pass. What I absolutely hated and the reason I will never stay at this property again is the unbelievable, non stop noise both day and night. Try to take an afternoon nap nope, there is non stop door slamming that you can hear from all the way down the hallway, even from floors below you. Same with noise from people, non stop, these are the most paper thin walls I have ever encountered. I swear I could hear my neighbor making coffee, tearing open the sugar package, stirring and even drinking the coffee, I'm not even kidding that's how thin the walls are. Trying to sleep at night once again non stop, extremely loud door slams and extremely loud people in the rooms and halls keeping you awake ALL night long. This is just crazy and unacceptable torture to a guest paying good money. I honestly travel a lot and as far as noise level this was the absolute noisiest hotel I have ever stayed at in 30 years, that is even including Vegas! My fault for trying somewhere new, I usually stay at La Quinta but the rooms are getting a little tired and this was a newer property so I decided to give it a try. Big mistake, I will take a tired room that is quiet all day and night next time for sure!!
