My bed had a piece of a blunt with Marijuana in it and one of the staff members went to the room and saw it and smelled it and agreed it was marijuana. Also all sheets had not been changed as we had stains on the other bed the employee also agreed they needed to be changed and gave us sheets but made us change them. I also had to report the a/c twice before they fixed it so the fact that we found drugs in our room and had no working air for one night was unacceptable and dangerous because I had my three kids with me I hope I get a response and something is done about this I was very patient and kept my composure.

Rooms were clean, staff was friendly, breakfast was amazing. Only complaint is the first night we were told that the pool closed at 10pm. So my kids jumped in at 930pm. About 10mins til 10pm, the security guard asked what we were doing and that we shouldnt be in the pool area. We explained the front desk told us 9pm, but he wouldnt listen and firmly said the sign says 9pm! We apologized and left, and then asked the front desk the next day and they also daid 10pm..so we were a little confused by the security guard. But other than that..we had an amazing time!

The best stay at Brownsville yet. We come to visit family in town and this hotel has been the coziest stay as of yet. I wish the room's floor was as shiny as the lobby's but other than that I highly recommend.

The check-in was great, the person at the reception area was very nice, helpful and friendly. However, when we got to the room, it was a different story since we got double beds. One of the beds when you took the covers off, there was hairs in the bed also spiders in the room one on the wall and the other one on top of the bed and there was a bug on another bed, and then the sink was plugged up. Every time you washed your hands, the water would rise, imagine, brushing your teeth, gross. Needless to say I would not be staying at that hotel when going back to visit family even though it’s very close to family. I’d rather drive instead a nicer hotel.

Our room was very humid and the floor was slippery from humidity, even with the ac on. The front desk receptionist when we checked out was not helpful and when I realized I left something at the hotel they were not helpful in getting it to me. Luckily I have family that lives in area that was able to pick it up for me.
