Austin Marriott North is centrally located within Round Rock and driving distance to plenty of restaurants and activities. I'd recommend this property to individuals and families who prefer stay outside of the city.

Was disappointed in how other guest were allowed to let their children run about up and down the common areas. This would have been expected at a Days Inn but not at a Marriott , in my opinion.

The air conditioning wouldn’t stay on when it wasn’t in auto. It kept shutting on and off(mostly off for long periods of time) so unfortunately it got hot through out the night in the room. Then the neighbors kept goin in and out of room with their door slamming shut so the baby kept waking up. If you have a kid you know that’s a long night with no sleep.

Have been to this hotel a few times because my husband likes this hotel when we visit family in Roundrock. Unfortunately, this time i had a terrible experience with the manager and that was so discouraging. I had booked a king bed for my husband and I to stay in. on the morning of our reservation I called the front desk and spoke with a gazie, macie, some odd name so i cannot recall the name , but i informed her that we would need a 2 bed ground floor ( as we were informed by family last minute that a disabled family member was traveling with us and needed to stay with us). The front desk lady on the phone was super helpful and told us that yes 2 queen room on the first floor was available and we would be switched over immediately to that accommodation. Great. We jumped in the car from Houston and headed that way. We arrived at 3:30 to a horribly unwelcome manager guy, who quickly informed me that i’m a liar and he does not employ anyone by that name and he has no 2queen bed accommodations on the first floor and not the 2nd. The family member cannot be on anything but the first floor due to health conditions. We had to spends hundreds of dollars at another hotel to accommodate this disabled family member. The older hotel manager guy with the bald head, and glasses is completely unprofessional calling me a liar and I don’t appreciate it. I will take by business elsewhere.

Austin Marriott North had been my favorite hotel pre-pandemic. Clean, light, and inviting. Dark, ugly wooden partitions now make the lobby space feel dark and old and uninviting. Black carpet looks old and worn by design?! Had been so excited to show hubby my fave hotel for first time as we visited family. His first words “It seems kinda old.” (And these reno’s were done in past couple of years!) Rooms were clean. Breakfast was bland and unimpressive. Time to find a new place that has some heart and soul. Too bad. But others, I’m sure, will find it fine for work.
