Sonesta Select Austin North

5～6 cars were broken windows during our stay on July 4th morning. Luckily our car was parked in the front. Pool was not open, my kids were really upset

This is a typical Inn, staff were friendly, bathroom was clean room was big enough, it’s a bit away from the street so we didn’t experience any street noise, however the last night we had a family staying in the room connected to ours and we heard the kid scream and cry till 1AM, wanted to stay for an hour more because I had issues with packing but they said they can’t because it’s long weekend although their checkin time is at 4pm! There was no cups available for coffee or tea in the room. Was very difficult to find someone to help at night. What was disappointing was the cleaning crew not understanding English, we stayed for 6 nights and on day 4 we slept in so when the cleaning staff came I told them we need 10 min to get out but she didn’t understand what I was saying I just got some towels and sheets and closed the door. The next day our room was not cleaned, I had to ask the front desk to ask them to clean our room. Overall if you are spending much time in the hotel and want to sleep, it’s fine the price was reasonable but you will need a car to get around.

This is my third time booking at this Sonesta.It is very family budget friendly.I like that breakfast is included and that the rooms are large.I like that you don't have to pay for parking and its located up a small hill next to a seafood restaurant.You cant beat the price!

Stains on carpet and sofa. Little kids playing in the room next to ours. Shower has corrosion.

We were planning to stay in Wimberley but decided to return again to this Sonesta since it was clean and very affordable for a family of four.

This hotel provided plenty of value for the low rate we paid. The room was spacious for even a family of 4 thanks to the two double beds and additional sofa bed and living area. Very clean and well kept. Only issues were with a slow elevator that either needed maintenance or replacing and the complementary continental breakfast was sufficient but nothing special to rave about. However, we can't complain given how affordable the stay was, and we'd stay here again.

Reservation included breakfast but upon waking, my family and I were informed that the kitchen was not operational. There was renovation construction throughout the building, which I understand is a necessity at times, but should be stated somewhere in the reservations as well. The room smelled of water damage (though none could be seen).

The location was off the highway so it was easy to find and near lots of Asian restaurants. Elevator was loud and appears to be needing service. It also looked really dirty. It's an older hotel. Doors constantly slammed and you have kids screaming down the hall, so I didn't get much sleep. Staff was nice. Another concern was safety. Lots of sign about potential break-ins.
