Four Points by Sheraton Amarillo Central

The hotel was nice. However I had called and asked that my room and my 2nd room be put next to each other as my kids were staying there. The lady I spoke with said I she is going to assign my rooms while we spoke on the phone that way it is available when we arrive. 5 days later when we arrived there was no record of that conversation and they put us in separate floors. We had 1135 which is right be the hotel side entrance door. People would slam the door all night and early in the morning. Additionally the laundry for the hotel is right there. Those dryers and washers spinning was heard all the way in our room. It wasn't what I expected seeing as I paid more this hotel. The front desk did comp us breakfast for the room confusion. I didn't bother complaining about the room as we were only there two nights.

The concierge crew was so friendly and welcoming. You can tell they treat each other as family. The manager was amazing and made my fiance's birthday very special! Extremely nice and clean rooms. Fun bar too!

Amazing hotel. Nice, clean, modern. We did a family one night stay and it was perfect.

Though this seemed a fairly new hotel, the construction was incredibly poor. From our first step into the lobby, panels were coming off the walls, flooring was misaligned, and carpet is detached. The room itself was fine - really great bed - but again in the bathroom the shower stall was crooked and overall the property seemed to be falling apart. The concept of two properties cojoined seems trendy - but for god's sakes put some signage up! We took the stairs down in the morning and ended up lost... coming out a side door from the adjacent property and walking around the building to find our way. (We weren't alone! Another family had done the same!) Also of note - we could have taken free breakfast in the other property... And I guess should have, since the coffee (all we were "entitled to") was out once we finally found the correct lobby. The cafe staff person seemed too busy chatting it up with a breakfast patron to check the coffee and refill it... All in all, very meh. Good night's sleep but everything else was more in line with a low-end motel than a Sheraton property.
