Tru by Hilton Murfreesboro

I truly will not stay at a Tru Hilton again. The pool was not open for the five eighty plus degree days.on line there was no mention of the pool being closed. The breakfast had a good variety of choices but basics were missing. The milk, breakfast sandwiches. The staff explained that the travel athletes are the only ones who they make breakfast sandwiches for. The most frustrating part of being a guest was communicating with two employees who turned the station around. Zero accountability. The weekend was a free for all with young kids running and screaming through the hotel. It was not what was advertised and the staff took lots of smoke breaks out in the front courtyard. Not a great place for guests or workers.

One of my favorite hotels anywhere. Clean, classy, great service. Has a great lobby area to relax and kids for games to play. You want to stay here.

It was more of a modern looking hotel. I liked the game room in the common area of the lobby. The popcorn was something the kids got excited about. The room was very simple. It was different not to have carpet. What I was disappointed in was the breakfast. It started at 7am. But, it seemed as if nothing was ready. The breakfast should all be ready for guests when it opens. But food was being set up while guests were walking in the area. The waffle irons were not ready and warmed up for guests to start using. The donuts were cold...as if they were just taken out of the refrigerator. The butter was too hard and would not spread onto a bagel. We got downstairs maybe 5 minutes after 7am and the coffee cups were all gone by then. I had to search for some by the juice.
