About the hotel
Miss Daisy II is located in Outdoor Resorts of Gatlinburg (ORG), just 10 miles from downtown Gatlinburg and right off US-321. She is a 2018 Flagstaff (29BHWS) RV set up on Lot 323. As we own the lot she sits on, there is no additional resort/ campground fee due by anyone renting her from us.
Miss Daisy II will comfortably sleep a total of 7 people. The master bedroom has a queen size bed, the second bedroom has two single bunks and a sofa that pulls out into a full-size bed. The kitchen dinette will also make into a bed if needed for that 7th person! The kitchen is fully stocked (pots/pans/silverware/cups/coffee maker & mugs, etc.) and ready for your enjoyment. It also includes a refrigerator, 3 burner range/oven with an over the range microwave. The kitchen table will sit 4 comfortably. The only thing you should need in the kitchen is food & drinks.
The Living room includes two vibrating/heated recliners. The 32” TV & stereo system make nights at the Resort comfortable. In addition to the queen bed in the master bedroom, we also have another 32” TV, as wells as closets for hanging and storing clothes. Along with the bunks and pull-out full-size bed in the second bedroom, it also has an additional 32” TV as well as another closet and storage drawers.
The bathroom in Miss Daisy II has a large shower with a skylight & glass shower door which is nice after a long day of playing in the mountains. We have also stocked the bathroom with towels, washcloths, and toilet paper to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We offer sheets, blankets, pillows & pillowcases for the queen bed, and for the bunks/ sofa bed. Just bring your personal items and enjoy your stay.
The outside of Miss Daisy has not been forgotten either. The stereo & speakers add a nice touch while you are sitting in one of the 6 outdoor seats next to the fire pit. Our Miss Daisy also offers an outside kitchen (I like to call my daddy area). The daddy area has refrigerator, a sink, storage cabinets and drawers. We also have additional plates/bowls/etc. in the outside kitchen area! Our electric grill makes grilling & eating outside easy & enjoyable.
You can relax by one of two pools – an adult only pool and a family pool. If you like to fish, ORG also offers a stocked lake as well as two mountain streams that run through it. Additionally, the resort offers, basketball courts, miniature golf, a children’s playground, game room, and picnic areas, as well as a coin-operated laundry onsite. ORG is conveniently located near most of the activities the Smoky Mountains have to offer. Literally across the street from the Smoky Mountains National Park, less than a mile from Bent Creek Golf Course, 10 miles from downtown Gatlinburg, 15 miles from Pigeon Forge & I-40, 20 miles from Sevierville and 25 miles from Townsend & Newport.
Miss Daisy II has long been a dream for my wife & myself. Ever since I left the Navy in 1994 and moved to East Tennessee, we have dreamed of owning a cabin in the mountains. Raising three children may have put that dream on pause for a time, we now find ourselves being able to share that dream with both our children & grandchildren. Miss Daisy may not be your typical cabin in the mountains, but we have gone out of our way to make it look & feel like a mountain cabin. Honestly in ORG with all the amenities, I feel she is better than any mountain cabin we could have bought. Please take a minute to look at all our pictures, both of our new “cabin” and of the resort as well. I think you might find it as appealing as we have!

Located in Gatlinburg, this resort is in the city center and on a lake. Salt and Pepper Shaker Museum and Cooter's Place are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Bent Creek Golf Club and Greenbrier Picnic Area. Traveling with kids? Consider Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies and Mills Park.
