Travelodge by Wyndham Spearfish

There was a bus load of kids staying here and lots of running around.

Went for a family event, had a great stay at Travelodge. Friendly staff, clean environment and comfortable room.

The rooms were to say the least rather tired and need of a lift. They seemed clean but the bath rooms were not the best with a tub with no grab bars and toilets that were built for children and rather difficult for elderly guests to use.

Property was older but served our family well. Kids enjoyed hot tub and pool. No continental breakfast, offered muffins and other non perishables to go. Only a few minutes from highway to spearfish canyon. Would stay again.

Stayed there once before and had the same experience. The people who check you in are awesome and welcoming. The morning people are so rude and can’t even get a good morning or see you leaving with your bags and say thank you for staying, safe travels or something. They great other people before and not sure if it’s because I’m a man and family of color but the morning people are so rude! They just stare at you as you leave the hotel. Rooms are nice breakfast is decent like the little food shop there, saves you a trip to town. 10/10 I would say but the two times we been there the morning people are so rude I’d say 6/10.

It was a nice hotel. The pool was clean and warm-- my kids loved playing in it. The beds and bathroom were clean. The noise of traffic from the freeway was really loud.

This was a very comfortable hotel. Not many bells and whistles, but it was a good place as a home base for this trip. The room was very comfortable, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the pool was good for kids.
