The property itself was decent. Clean and nice rooms. However, we got in extremely late and had to park in the front with our rooms located on the second floor in the back. There was no elevator or luggage carts (theyndont offer luggage carts). We were halfway in to our cross country move and had to make several trips with luggage, children, and pets. It was not the best experience.

It was a perfect home base for our trip! We were able to take several day trips to see the sights, and were close enough to see family, too!

We stayed in a family suite that included a living room and 2 separate bedrooms. While the decor is dated, the property was clean and the room was very spacious with plenty of room for our family to spread out and not feel confined. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The included breakfast offered some hot items (eggs, sausage) which is always nice. The location is good for exploring Spearfish, Devil's Tower (1 hr away) and Deadwood. The only downside was no indoor pool. Overall, I would recommend this hotel.

Room was nice, breakfast was decent, property overall was a bit dated, staff was friendly, and was disappointed there was no pool for the kids
