Located in downtown Providence, it was easy to find the property - thanks also to Google Maps. I am thankful to Tayla and Donelle at the front desk for switching us out of a 2 Queen bed room to a suite - all becos Expedia thinks we have a small child even tho at the booking stage, we indicated we have 4 adults and a 17-year old child! Come on Expedia...wake up and pull up your socks! The switched out room was bigger and we enjoyed the stay very much. Valet was very nice as well. Breakfast was fantastic!

I was there for a wedding one night and it look me four phone calls to accommodate an early check in by just 30 minutes prior to the normal 4pm check in. It’s already stressful being in a wedding but also I had plans change due to a death in the family and it was a bummer that I couldn’t downgrade my room to save on the costs of my hotel. Manny was very helpful at the end only hours before the wedding, but the amount of work and effort to get to this after a series of unfortunate events made this hotel stay needless to say, not an ideal situation.

The hotel is very clean and had a great breakfast with waffles, egg, sausage, bakery and more. Our room was huge with the living room and a separate bedroom so that the baby can sleep in the pack and play and we were able to watch movie night in the living room. The only downside which is not something that the hotel has control on is that there were a lot of noisy cars that would go by with blasting music and a restaurant blaring its music till 10:00 p.m. half a block away. But otherwise close to walking near the riverfront and to Brown University.

What a treat to visit this Hampton Inn located in this beautiful historic building in the center of Providence. The breakfast was yummy and the small sitting area in Lobby was convenient spot to meet with arriving family members. We highly recommend this Hampton Inn to other traveler.s

Older/dated property, many rooms have a view into the parking garage. Make-your-own-waffles was a hit with the kids. But overall felt a bit too pricey given the age and condition of the property.
