Holiday Inn Express & Suites Uniontown, an IHG Hotel

Very nice stay. It was quiet..meaning no children running about. Room clean. Breakfast good.

Our first room were put in was not clean, something that looked like vomit was on the side of the bed. We got moved to another room on the 4th floor. We had our 2 young children with us. There was someone who was below us who called our room and told us we were being too loud (kids walking around) at 9AM! Around 930AM we received a call from the front desk saying we had a noise complaint. This was very frustrating. It was 930a, if people check in late and need to sleep during normal day hours- they should not be put directly under a room with children. This was very unfair to my children, and caused a lot of frustration between my husband and I because I didn’t agree they should have to sit on the bed all morning and be quiet, especially after we had already had to move rooms. They should have moved the gentleman below us. The pool was nice, but pretty cold! Staff were very pleasant and accommodating, even got us ketchup when we forgot to grab it at sonic.

We have family here and when we come for a visit this is where we stay ... Very nice

A nice quiet place to stay that is convenient to my sister's family. Good breakfast, and the rooms are new and very clean. Only problem was the soap dispenser was empty and it took 3 calls to have a replacement delivered to the room , as they do not clean your room.

Was set for 3pm check in time. Arrived with three tired kids after a long drive at 3:40pm. Was told the room wouldn’t be ready for another thirty minutes. We sat in the lobby with a crying baby for 30 minutes and was told another twenty minutes. After 50 minutes we received no sincere apology or discount. The next morning the pancake machine was not working, juice machine was not working, and my son drank expired milk. Then the next morning same thing pancake machine ( they like to post all on their site) and juice machine was down. Next time we go we will go to another hotel being how the most expensive hotel gave us these poor results. Also I’d like to note they need to promote the very friendly gentleman who handles the food to the check in counter because the ladies they have now are zombies. The room we stayed in though was not terrible, couple dings in the bathroom and a very large gap under the door leading to the hall.

We booked 2 rooms for our family. Not only did the hotel not book our rooms next to each other, we were on completely separate floors. The bathroom floors were sticky. The bathroom in one of our rooms smelled like methane. In the same room, the door did not close completely. The breakfast setup was not great. The drink machine was broken and there were no alternative options for kids besides milk. There was an hour left for breakfast and we were told that there would be no replenishment of main course items. The fitness center was dirty. There was a candy wrapper and smashed candy in the floor. There were broken sharp plastic pieces in various spots in the gym, which I picked up. And carpet overall look dirty. The room looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while.

Everything went well. New employees were coming up to speed, so I understood the learning curve they are under. The breakfast was good but the juice machine was out of order and they ran out of milk. There were a lot of kids. I went back to the room and got our own juice, which was fine.

The staff was friendly, the property was clean and the area around is safe and convenient. The only issue was with the pool. Checked in on a Friday afternoon and the pool was full of employee family members (saw them letting them in while I was bringing in luggage). Later that evening, the pool was marked as closed and remained closed for the weekend.

Disappointed that the pool was Out of order. My three children were excited to swim and looked forward to this activity after driving for eight hours.

We stayed 4 nights. Every single employee we encountered was so nice and friendly.The room was spacious, clean and a comfortable bed. The breakfast was great as well. Did not use the pool or gym but it was nice to know it was available. It was very quiet at night as well. We have family in the area and woukd definitely stay again.
