Everything about the hotel was perfect bed's very comfortable staff. Wonderful restaurant delicious with wonderful service. The only complaint that my husband and I have was at the pool. There were grandparents there with about six children. The kids took up the entire pool did nothing but splash at my husband and I the whole time and the elderly lady told us that we had to deal with it because kids will be kids and that she is a member of the club if you're going to open your country club to the public and have them pay $200 a night for a room, they should be able to enjoy the pool without a member telling them kids will be kids and having their children splashing them taking up the whole pool

Nice and clean rooms. Definitely like that there’s no carpet in the rooms. The indoor pool was nice to use after a long day out toddler enjoyed it, just wish the indoor pool water was a little warmer!

I have traveled with young children. Overall, the hotel was very nice, and the reception staff gave us a warm welcome. When we checked in, I heard about the breakfast time starts at 6am and also we had to participate a competition at before 7:30am so I thought that's the perfect time to get ready after the meal. When we're at the breakfast area around 6:15am and bumped into a lounge staff, then we said to her "Good morning" but she told us with snarky & unhappy voice that "Breakfast time opens up at 6:30am you know?". And the lounge staff made us all feels uncomfortable and unwelcome. Our kids felt also felt awkward whenever she was passing by us and didn’t enjoy the breakfast much as well as the next day breakfast she was there and much looked upset.

I booked 6 rooms for a family trip to see our son's graduation from Penn State. Each of the rooms were clean and very comfortable. The hotel was very accomodating putting our rooms together, making sure one of the rooms had a bath tub for the toddler traveling with us, provided extra blankets for the grandparents, and offered a delicious hot breakfast. The free breakfast was amazing from eggs, potatoes, sausage/bacon, pancakes, hot oatmeal, cold cereal, an array of fresh fruit, and beverages. We also ate at the restaurant which accommodated 15 of us with excellent service and food. Overall, outstanding stay. Some of my guest even want to go back for a mini-vacay at this hotel.

The location was good if you like a hotel away from the usual restaurants and commercial businesses like in a downtown area. It is by itself along a golf course. The views are amazing! There is a restaurant called “The View”, makes for amazing sunsets while eating dinner (I recommend the seared ahi tuna). The rooms were clean and fresh. Beds were fair and towels were fair as well. The walls/doors are a bit thin. We could hear little ones running up and down the hallway. Anyway, with all that being said this will be my go to when staying near State College.

I was here to visit my friend at Penn State and was able to book a room at this hotel at like 12:00am the day before and checked in at 1:00pm. I loved this hotel!!! Super super clean, accommodating, and PET FRIENDLY! I have a pitbull and he’s super super clean and trained. We were surprised that we could bring him. They also were super super welcoming to him and give him a bowl and some treats. My boyfriend and I will have to come back in the future with our pup again! We loved this hotel and loved the restaurant! It was nice to be away from State College so we could have more privacy, go to bar that wasn’t super loud and filled with college kids. Also! The view WAS AMAZING!!!

Great value stay. We’ve been looking for a regular place to stay when we’re visiting family in the area and this place is it. Updated, clean, quiet, convenient to where we need to be and breakfast was an added bonus. Thanks for carrying my tea :) Though the restaurant was closed while we were there, it’s nice to have that option and we look forward to trying it in the future.

This property had an indoor and outdoor pool, golf, restaurant and bar on their second floor. The had a breakfast buffet that was very well rounded and fully stocked with fresh fruits and even warm maple syrup. It was so family friendly and happy. We enjoyed it immensely! The staff also encouraged us to bring our large breed dog who we did not be big this time, but will definitely take her next time.

The entire place was beautiful. Room with view of pool was fun. Everybody was pleasant and professional even when the kids tried to stay in pool late. Staff just smiled and held a firm ground that it was closing time. Great stay.
