Average hotel. People above us were stomping all night but that’s not the hotels fault. Room was clean. No bugs. Pool was small but my kids enjoyed it.

We were visiting for our child’s sporting event. Some of the water machines and ice machines were broken. But I think the most aggravating part of the visit was not clearly knowing ahead of time that the breakfast buffet was going to cost $14. Not worth it by the way. We have no problem paying but everyone was surprised with a bill as we were finishing our meal. Just not good business. The cost could easily be added to the info sheet we’re handed at check-in.

Stayed with my family for 2 nights and everything was clean and the rooms were spacious. One of the best Hilton's we've ever stayed in.

Beware that if you have a problem with your Hilton Honors App or attempts to get in to the Lobby and you need to book through an agency that you will not be recognized for your status and you will not earn nights or points. As a family member of a Hilton team member I was not aware of this. the front desk suggested that I could have called them but I think it is a policy at each location as that has not worked for me in the past.

They did not have enough body towels for my family( 3 out of 4). The reason was because they were booked and ran out!?!

We booked this hotel because they advertise a hot tub. Unfortunately, the hot tub is really a kiddie pool with jets. It was only slightly warmer than the swimming pool, nothing close to hot. When we asked about it at the front desk, the clerk said that he couldn't adjust the temperature. Had we known this we wouldn't have stayed here. Other than that, the property was fine. What you'd expect for this class of hotel. My only other comment is that the beds were quite soft. Too soft for my husband and me, but if you're into soft beds, you'll be happy.

My family and I booked a non-smoking room with two queen beds and got a smoking room with a queen bed and a fold out. Thankfully on the second night we were able to change rooms to what we originally booked. The restaurant was a disaster as well. Our order of two omlettes took 50 minutes, the kitchen ran out of bacon 2 hrs into breakfast, and my order of a three eggs over easy took an hour to recieve. The food was cold and the hashbrowns were rocks. This for the charge of nearly $10 per person. For the same price you could go a block to Perkins and get better food and serivce. This is a Hilton in name alone and does not meet normal Hilton standards. Front desk staff wear flip flops with their suits, when moving us from one room to another they did not move our possessions from storage to the new room while we were out as promised and the bureaus in the rooms have drawers that open as you walk by resulting in banged up knees and squished fingers. We will not return and recommend the Wyndam of Gettysburg. For the same price avoid the issues of the Hilton Garden Inn and have an enjoyable stay.

Excellent hotel! Loved everything about it. Very clean, great location to all attractions in Gettysburg. Was greeted with outstanding service for breakfest. Entire family enjoyed the whole stay. Hotel staff was very professional and trustworthy after finding my wifes Kindle which was left behind. Will definitely stay here again, on any future stays in the Gettysburg area.
