Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Seaside-Convention Center, an IHG Hotel

Very disappointed we didn’t get checked in till 4pm. My family and I had to get freshen up out side by our car trunk after a 5 hour drive everyone kept getting checked in but us cause we weren’t members. Front desk girl was super rude.

When my family and I went for New Year’s Eve night we booked through Expedia. When we booked it was said that it was a river view and had everything else we were looking for. Then we get there and the two receptionists were rude and talking to me and my partner like we were stupid when we were asking questions. Once we got to our room it wasn’t a river view so we went back down to figure it out and basically told us we couldn’t get one unless we canceled the reservation we made and did a new one and hope we’d get our money back even after she said their booking cancellation rules. So then after over an hour and a half of trying to figure it out with support and them not answering the calls the receptionists denied us being able to move rooms KNOWING they had them available but because I wouldn’t let her be disrespectful to us she didn’t like that and treated us poorly and being unprofessional.

Our stay was excellent. We celebrated our 41st wedding anniversary. The room was clean, breakfast was good each morning. The hotel staff was helpful and friendly. We would recommend this hotel to friends and family if they are visiting the Oregon Coast. Thank You for the wonderful stay!

Pool and Spa open 24 hours- children not allowed after 10pm- amazing!! Breakfast is pretty decent albeit a little crowded. Love the firepits outside and the good a/c inside our room that we could control. The jetted tub was heaven. Dislikes- only one elevator, constantly in use.

Our stay was wonderful! Started out with a great check in experience and continued to get better. The service and amenities were excellent. My family and I were happy and comfortable.

Everything was nice and I liked that it’s family friendly.

This is our second time staying at this property and we had another great visit! We were able to snag a deal on a suite this time. Nice big room with a semi-private area for my husband and I, and a decent pull-out couch for the kids. (TBH, this one could use a better mattress though.) We had two tv's which was nice for the kids to watch cartoons in the morning and we could watch something else if we wanted :) The room had a small area with a pretty big fridge and microwave to fix a meal or two during the trip. The free breakfast was really good too! Great selection of hot foods, as well as juices, coffee, milk, yogurt, etc. The selection changed a bit each day, but was always good! We were very comfortable, the staff was friendly, the pool was well taken care of and we observed a staff member checking the PH balance while there, as well as maintaining the cleanliness of the property everyday. This hotel is situated at pretty much the beginning of the downtown area of Seaside and close to shopping, restaurants and a short drive to a grocery store if needed. We highly recommend Pizza a Feta a block away! Great pizza by the slice or whole pie! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel and hope to come back soon!!

Holiday Inn are clean, safe and quite, I definitely recommended to my family and friends

The front desk, cleaning and orher staff had impeccable customer service. Gave great advice for where to eat, shopping and directions. The room was clean and well kept. They had a wonderful breakfast provided for guests with plenty of vegetarian options. The only thing that was annoying was someone did not want to control their teenage crotch goblin as he was bouncing a ball off the wall in the pool, which echoed loudly off the surrounding walls. The person at the front desk did come right in on time around 10pm to let them know it was adult time. Thank goodness. The parenting of the child was in no way reflected of the staffs professional and courteous customer service. Will be coming back again! Thanks for helping make my mothers day a great time.

If I could have give 0 stars I most definitely would have!! And I did NOT check out on April 3, but it wouldn’t let me put check out as the same day I checked in!! I checked in a little after 4:00P.M. On April 2,& Checked out around 8:30ishP.M. On April 2! I will NEVER EVER book a room at this hotel again, not even if they offered a $1.00 night stay! It was the WORST experience I have ever had staying anywhere especially as a family!! We checked out 4 1/2 hours after checking in because we did not feel welcomed as a family with kids, because of FEET noise we got noise complaints, mind you we we’re on the 3rd floor and the kids were NOT yelling & screaming nor running a muck, they were being as quiet and respectful as possible, & it also wasn’t QUIET time either!! And when the front desk came to our room my children were IN BED, getting ready to SLEEP! So, instead of them being able to go to sleep in a bed, I had to pack us all up and ruin their suppose to be GOOD memory making time and have them sleep in the car to make the trek back to our home!! I tried getting some kind of refund & got told that couldn’t happen because they were doing their job, so glad I got to pay their wage apparently but got no craps about the $$ I am out now!! I am out almost $300 for using a hotel room for around 4 1/2 hours, wasted time, memory making,& had to drive back home to a different STATE with my very upset and disappointed kids at almost 9:00P.M.!!
