Coast River Inn by OYO Seaside

I have come to love OYO! This stay was no exception. The room we had was meant for a family it had two rooms and a king size bed downstairs and 1 1/2 bathroom with a full kitchen. The room deco was bright but minimal. My only recommendations would be to add a sheet pan to the items available in the kitchen. We should have made sure there was one before we bought food but other than that we will stay again!

This room was very affordable for a family of 4. Close to the beach and safe. I would stay here again. Close to canon beach and Astoria

The room had great amenities and room was clean. Todfler in room above me, not much sound proofing so . I could hear the child running and jumping. I didnt let thef front desk know as it wasnt an issue just annoying. Young children get exited jn new places. I would suggest some sound proofing be dpne next time rooms are updated.

The property itself was in a beautiful location. The room was a bit messy upon arrival- after a very long trip that was a bit frustrating. The staff upon check in was polite- efficient. The staff morning of check out was rude, vulgar, and overall unhelpful in many ways. We traveled here relocating from the Midwest. Any questions are for our understanding and genuine concern or interest and she treated and talked to myself and fiancée like children. I’m a mother so I don’t appreciate a stranger acting like my own. For the price the amenities should have been a bit more but in a pinch it was overall okay. We tried to extend our stay to be told sold out no options unfortunately just to end up booking at sister property for following night and being told NOTHING about any other local properties that were a possibility. That property also is overpriced and unstaffed. It’s not hard to be kind or professional and if you don’t like people- don’t work with them professionally… simple as that.

Nice place for families with children.

Debby at the front counter was super nice and helpful with booking another nights stay, pillows are extremely comfortable and beds are firm with foam pad on top both me and my dad slept like a baby. Will be returning again for comfort on a budget

Apartment layout was good. Plenty of beds so will be good for big family. There were some spider webs inside the apartment above the stairs area. The slide in door to the balcony facing street was hard to lock. Overall good facility.

Although the property is dated it was clean and comfortable. Full kitchenette for family. Staff was pleasant and friendly.

First, I will start with the good parts: The property is very conveniently located near restaurants and the beach. We got a 2-room apartment and it was EXTREMELY spacious with 1.5 bathrooms, two full rooms with king beds, and a full-sized bed downstairs. The kitchen is very well stocked. It is clean and comfortable. For a family looking for an affordable stay, it's great in all of these regards. Dislikes: First of all, the booking company they use is AWFUL. I received several text messages the day of my stay stating the the room would be cancelled unless I called immediately. This is ridiculous, especially as I had already paid and confirmed with the hotel manager since I knew it was a very busy weekend. Not only that, but I learned that if you book on Expedia and use the "pay at the hotel" option, if you don't arrive before 6 p.m., your room can be cancelled. This isn't listed anywhere in the hotel policies so I suspect it's another reservation system error. So, make sure you call ahead if you'll be arriving after 6 p.m. The other issue is that the hotel is located near a noisy highway. I realize the hotel can't help this, but just an FYI, if your room faces that side, opening the window isn't an option at night unless highway noise and the occasional drunken shouts of tourists are soothing. Overall, I recommend staying at this property. The employees are nice, it's a great deal, clean and convenient location. Just beware of the reservation company.

Its an old building, looks like they renovated the room the furniture was decent, Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable.The evening was Quiet, my kids and Pet were happy. The Staff at check in was friendly. We will keep this place in mind in our next travel get away.
