Terrible experience. Internet didn’t work the entire time we were there, so I had a screaming toddler.

Loved our stay here, the only thing I feel like would need improvement would be having more breakfast options for kiddos. Even some cereal would be good

Soup reception was a surprise and my kids loved it! Also, what was not listed that there was a hot tub AND a spa! That was also a pleasant surprise. Overall clean rooms and breakfast had nice variety and was a great breakfast.
The only negative - it's kind of hard to get to.

We really liked the amenities and the quality of the hotel and food for the price! Gated parking was great too. Neighborhood was a little dodgy but the main reason for not being 5 star reviews across the board for me is the way staff behaved during an alarm going off and us evacuating. It was disorienting waking up that way for us and other guests — naturally nobody knew what was going on. Some kids were scared. No staff member we passed reassured us. We overheard the front desk person at the time saying to another employee “it’s been going off since Friday” and one employee outside asked people to move to the side “in case the fire trucks come this time”. Employees need to just because they felt it wasn’t a real emergency, the guests had no idea if it was or wasn’t. The employees should be sensitive to this and follow proper procedures as well as just generally be kind enough to tell guests what’s up. Reassure scared kids. It’s not a difficult idea. One front desk person we had the day before was wonderful at customer service and interaction. Her name was Rachel. I’m sure she would’ve been better in charge if she were there the day of the alarm.

Excellent, large rooms, comfortable beds, sink outside the bathroom which is great if traveling as a family. Continental breakfast was one of the best we have seen including home made omelets!

Next door to a marijuana dispensary. Fine overall but the pool was too cold for my kid to want to go into, dining options were pretty limited, and not a great deal compared to hotels actually in Portland. Would pass in the future.

On this business trip, I brough my family with me. First night a strong odor of Marijuana went inside our room, called the front desk and didn't do anything about it.
Happened again first thing in the morning. I'm not sure if it's the staff smoking or guest.
You guys need to do something about this.

We had a nice stay in this inn because it was very convenient for families. There's a decent Breakfast buffet daily so we don't have to step outside to eat or order online. There were lots of parking spots around the property which was very convenient. There's also fast food chains just a few steps away. There's microwave, fridge, couch, and complete toiletries which was definitely a plus.
All hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating except for one of the receptionist named Ana (on the nametag). When we checked in at 7pm from a long drive, she seemed irritable and didn't make us feel welcome. Maybe she was tired too but aren't we all? A smile would be nice; and yet, she did seemed nicer in the morning. Yes I would still recommend for being convenient.
