River Bend Casino & Hotel

We arrived and were welcomed immediately. There is a very strong scent of cigarettes from the casino in the lobby. Once we were in our room though, the smell was gone. Our room alternately was musty smelling but once the AC was going, it did improve but never went away entirely. The rest of the room/stay was great. There was a back enterance for hotel guests that took us straight to the elevator, which helped bypass the lobby smell. I visit the area and have previously stayed at the Hampton Inn in Miami. My kids have requested this location as their preferred place to stay going forward. There is not a pool on site however next door there is a pool available for use if there is not a party/activity planned. I didn't try the restaurants as they're located within the casino and I was concerned, as a non smoker, the whole place would smell so I didn't bother to even visit. All in all, the hotel is a good place to sleep when in town visiting family. I will be staying again.

The cleanliness was amazing, the staff were very kind, the number of children out in the casino was a bit unusual, but we will be back.

This place is new so everything looks great! NOT family friendly at all!! There are other places that thought this through so we'll stay elsewhere next time. We had 2 teenagers with us and there was nothing to do for them. Plus they can't even access any food on their own without being escorted by an adult through the casino. They didn't think through a way that families could enjoy the casino experience, therefore, you get a DIFFERENT type of crowd.

It was nice, our only complaint was not fridge in the room. Restaurant was yummy and the club was fun, great bar tending staff. The front desk was super friendly as well. Overall would come back and recommend to friends and family
