Shangri-La Resort

Came for the kids, did not have a working TV for the first night. Had to call the maintenance two times, was not fixed. Day two was moved to a different room that was full of marijuana smoke, the girl at the front desk seamed shocked that I had a problem with drugs being in my room. Was finally moved to a drug free room. Was told we would be discounted for one night, never happened. Food was limited, I will share my experience with Shangri-La.

Over the property was beautiful! People were friendly and service at the restaurant was top notch. However, our room was gross. There were several flies we couldn’t get rid off, spots on the white comforter and large streaks on the bathroom closet doors like a child had got creative with finger paints. Gross!

I always have a fantastic time at Shangri-la. Its a great place for the kids to unwind.

Everything is right there for family fun. Awesome pool for adults and kids, splash pad was a favorite of our 5 and 7 year olds. Adults can hang out as kids play, very safe. Will be back next year!

Nice fun family trip. The pool was amazing. Beds were comfortable. Room was not ready till after 530 pm other than that all good. Will return

Absolutley fantastic get away. So many activities available for the kids.

The property is beautiful.. great restaurant and pool area.. well maintained. Check in not ready until 4:00… even though hotel was not full.. probably due to lack of cleaning staff. The rooms were very nice and clean.. only 1 restaurant open .. but we were in an adjoining room.. but did not know occupants in room next to us… extremely loud talkers.. might as well been in our room. I notified front desk.. nicely.. no response to request … had to sleep with ear plugs and TV on to drown out noise.. also mentioned to front desk at check out .. no response or apology. Was visiting this hotel for possible family reunion trip but due to lack of insulation between rooms.. especially with little ones..we will have to pass. But it has beautiful grounds with boat rental, pool, and hopefully all restaurants open by peak season.

We went for our anniversary and we were thoroughly unimpressed. To start, the restaurant staff barely paid attention to us. We went to Docs twice at different times of the day. Both times they maybe stopped at our table twice. Next the spa service. We had a couples massage planned and the morning of our appointment the spa had 2 call-ins. That’s normal it happens. But the front desk of the spa told me why the workers called in, which is highly unprofessional. And details of why- one sick and one had a family member in the icu. I do not need to know this- I work in the icu and do not need to think of work. I planned this get away to relax and spend time together. We weren’t able to either that morning. Luckily one was able to get a completely different service; however we were separate and spent no time together at the spa as originally planned. Although the pool and hot tub looked like fun, it was completely overrun by rowdy teens. Would recommend a separate adult only section especially for at night.
