Hampton Inn & Suites St. Clairsville

The decision to book the room was for a long weekend the kids had from school. I hotel close to home to get away and be able to swim while it was still cold outside. Well the indoor pool was FREEZING to the point the kids lips were blue. They couldn’t even swim. We asked the front desk employee if there was anyway they could turn the heat up to the pool to which they said “it’s not actually a heated pool, that just means it’s inside of a heated room.” I’ve been swimming in plenty of pools that took some getting used to, but this was unbearable!

We had a queen suite and king suite. The queen suite was enormous! The complimentary breakfast was beyond anything we had ever experienced before. The kids especially loved the waffle bar. Only "complaint" was the pool was really small.

Clean, spacious, modern suite for our family of 4. Staff were friendly and made an effort to wave and say hello to our 1 and 3 year old. Great pool, although a little on the smaller side. Having the mall just across from the hotel was an added bonus. Would stay again if in the area.

At the last minute due to family matters, I needed a place to stay. Hampton Inn is always my favorite place to stay and this property did not disappoint. Room was comfortable, clean, and well appointed.

The hotel was really nice. The room was HUGE. It really is as big as the pictures show. We could have had another family stay with us. There were two red stains on the floor… we called them the murder spots and prayed no one really died there, and avoided them at all costs. Other than that it was very clean. We had 6 people and asked for more towels. The first night they gave them no questions asked. The third night we asked for clean towels and they wouldn’t give us more than one each and we had to bring all of our dirty ones down stairs our self for an exchange. I’ve never heard of that before. However, they did leave the pool open 45 mins late for my kids to swim. That was super nice. The pool was so clean. Breakfast was really nice too, lots of choices. I would stay there again.
