Comfort Suites Troy-I75

We booked this hotel because of the pool for the kids. When we checked in, they had a sign saying the pool wasn’t open. This should have been mentioned at booking or an email sent by the hotel. Not very clean. Kids found gummies on the floor. Could have been laced with something. Got flushed before the kids ate them.

I was not able to make a cup for both of us in the room because the mini coffee maker has to cool down before a second use, really need to update equipment. TV did not work. Tile in bathroom has about 4 different shades of grout or just plain old worn and dirty grout?? Slab tub enclosure was black around the bottom - didn't think slab could do that? Not the hotels fault but since a high school band was there we could not take advantage of continental breakfast, tried three times to go down and get coffee there but there was a line. Could not use the pool because it was way to full. We love kids but a $200.00 night stay was not a good value for us!

3 night stay while visiting family in Troy. Great place to stay - quiet, very clean

I booked the hotel so the kids can swim in the pool and we use the gym, when we arrived there, both were out of service, staff didn’t offer anything, it is very noisy with very loud people and no quiet time. Definitely not good if you plan to get good sleep

The pool was down and we were not told this when booking and we had the kids with us that were VERY unhappy about not being able to swim after twirling baton all day.

The hotel was nice and clean. The room was comfortable and clean. The room was not quiet for the evening until after about 11. There was someone playing trumpet, and kids were running up and down the hall very loudly. The hot tub was not in operation. That fact should have been included on the website because we probably would have chosen either a hotel with one or at least one that wasn't as expensive. The breakfast was extremely unsatisfying. For the amount we payed, we expected more. Breakfast was supposed to be from 6 to 10. When we went down at 6:45 much of the food was not out yet. There were frozen breakfast sandwiches that we could warm for ourselves in the microwave. All the food came from Aldi. The only real hot food option was in the form of a waffle maker. They were out of waffle batter. When the clerk was told, he did not immediately fill it until he overheard us complaining again several minutes later. If we had paid for a cheap hotel maybe this would be expected.
