MainStay Suites Logan Ohio-Hocking Hills

The hotel was welcoming in every way possible. Super clean, breakfast delicious, hot, and varied day to day, freshly baked cookies daily, extensive knowledge about surrounding location and attractions, beds very comfortable and the room was appealing to the eye. From the front desk staff, Deidra and the young man whose name I can’t remember, to the housekeeping gal, to the general manager, all made you feel like family and royalty at the same time. I would highly recommend this hotel for a short business stay, a fun exploring vacation to Hocking Hills, or an extended stay as a home away from home.

We were in Logan to hike the various trails and parks. At the hotel, we were greeted and treated during our entire stay as though we were family. Excellent staff in all departments. The front desk staff during all hours were above average. The Wednesday dinner was appreciated and a pleasant surprise. Absolutely recommended when you're in the area.

Super friendly staff! I loved the 24 hour workout room. I'm an early bird, so it was nice to be able to get my workout in before our day of adventures in the area even started. My family loved all of the extras, complimentary cookies, corn hole, and their breakfast had many yummy of options.

Over all it was One of the best hotels we have stayed at, very clean all the staff was very friendly. Would of liked to have a larger pool a family of 5 makes a crowded pool.

This hotel made you feel like you were royalty. The staff was amazing and the breakfast was above and beyond any hotel breakfast I've ever seen. There were more options than a buffet And everything tasted wonderful. The floors are thin so you may hear the people above you, but be courteous about it. It was over all a wonderful place to take your family and the best part they made the pool with families in mind. The ac blows nice and cold, the beds are soft and comfy the showers were amazing and the full size bottles of shampoo and conditioner were a nice touch! Definitely want to make this trip again

We called ahead to ensure a quiet room on the pet free 4th floor. They placed us next to a room with noisy children-running up and down the hall after midnight. The front desk called them, but the noise did not stop. After they checked out, the front desk said they would not book anyone with children next to us for the following night stay. Literally 5 minutes later, after returning to our room, we see parents with four children check into the same room next to us. We return to the front desk. They claim it was booked online before they could block the room. We ask to move to another room. They had no room available like the one we were in with a kitchenette on the 4th floor. They assigned us to a room with a small refrigerator instead. St checkout, after a 2 night stay, the male trainee employee charged us for one night even though the entire stay was prepaid through Expedia. I told the male trainee that we already paid upfront for the entire stay. The female manager takes the receipt from me and crumples it up into a ball. She said she would make sure the charge comes off. I received 3 emailed receipts-all with different charged amounts?! The pool and fitness center are small, but nice. The kitchenette with full-sized refrigerator and microwave are great, but the room had no dinette set to sit at to eat our meals. Towels are thin, cotton/polyester. Polyester sheets and bed are hot. Fan in bathroom has no off switch-on all day and night. We won’t stay here again!

Mainstay did great straight from Michelle welcoming us with a genuine smile. The kids loved breakfast and the pool. The hubby appreciated the weights in the fitness room. They answered our questions, switched our room to be by our family, got us a rollaway so our teen boys didn't need to share a bed. They even have boot cleaners outside for after hiking the beautiful trails. Everything was delightful!

enjoyed a 3 night stay here. Service was fantastic, a big shout out to Ronda, and Josh for making this an exceptional stay, super friendly, helpful, treated us like family! Even when the power went out for several hours, they made sure we had everything we needed.Would definitilely recommend, and for sure will be back!!

noisy kids overall nice place

Stayed here in Hocking Hills on a family hiking trip! It was in a great location and had restaurants/coffee within walking distance, which was great. Breakfast was great. It had a ton of variety. Rooms were clean and comfortable. It was nice, quiet. The pool was small but good and my son enjoyed it. We would stay here again!
