Cherry Valley Hotel, BW Premier Collection

Great place to stay very clean room staff was great and property is nice to walk around! Staff made sure we had a first floor room per my son special need's ahead of our arrival (most hotels wont) that was very helpful for us! Only two things they could change would possibly be the ice mechanics and the hot tub. Before booking i read other reviews from months back about hot tub out and ice mechanics also out. They were still out on our stay we could get ice from the lobby but if you were on the other side of the hotel it would be a good walk to get ice. If the hot tub is a must i would call before making a reservation seems like its been out for a few months. Other then them two things five stars from our family we will for sure stay again if in town!

It was extremely inconvenient to not have access to a microwave in your room, and the only dining on sight was super expensive with little to no kid options.

The hotel is nice and a good value for money but they seem to be running a skeleton crew and everyone is spread thin doing multiple things. On our first night we went to the hotel’s restaurant and it was total chaos. In the time we were there the orders coming to the tables were all wrong and the poor waiter seemed to be seconds away from a meltdown. We decided to leave without ordering anything and other families did the same. Next day at breakfast my son’s fruit plate had strawberries with mold. I pointed that out to the waiter and to a manager. The only answer I got was “I’ll let the chef know.” Albeit these hiccups, we still had a positive experience and if in the area again, we would probably return.

Loved the nature setting inside the courtyard, we got a room facing it and really enjoyed it! My family spent more time outside than in the room during our one night there and I had to pull them away from watching the baby ducks to checkout the next morning.

We stayed in the recommendation of local family and were overall pleased. The room was comfortable and clean. Beautiful lobby with fireplaces was a great gathering spot for our family. Breakfast was very good. We included breakfast in our reservation and were able to order anything from the menu.

Vary nice and clean and friendly our family of 6 fit us all vary comfortably with two king beds and a pull Out couch would highly recommend and will return for are next trip out

My family and I love this hotel. Cherry Valley has multiple room size options to accommodate family groups and we always stay here in conjunction with our visits to Denison University.

We had a very nice weekend here with family. Our GPS directed through back roads rather than the highway but once we found it, it was really nice. The reception staff was friendly and very helpful throughout our stay. We had dinner at The Craftsmen Kitchen & Terrace which was great. The other restaurant onsite, Homestead Beer Co was a bit of a disappointment as although the website lists their hours as 4pm - 11pm, when we arrived to order a couple of pizzas just before 9pm, we were told rather abruptly that their kitchen was closed. The showers/tubs could use a deep cleaning or replacement and much of the furniture drawers and doors in both of our rooms didn't close properly which was odd. The beds were very, very comfortable and the rooms were spacious! All in all, the positives definitely outweigh the negatives. We'd definitely stay here again.

The Cherry Valley Hotel is absolutely beautiful AND family friendly. Everything is so clean and fresh, and the amenities are awesome. Every staff meme we interacted with was incredibly kind and helpful. And the FOOD! So good.

Upon arrival, our room temperature was 76.4°. We had difficulty cooling the room. After dinner returning, the very sweet maintenance young man adjusted something in the system. He still offered us a new room. Our new room was set on 68° but the exceptionally high humidity, overwhelming moisture and mildewy smell was most uncomfortable. I'm assuming that the room hadn't been cooled for a significant amount of time. The humidity discipated somewhat after several hours. It was still uncomfortable this morning. The kind maintenance man had left a fan for us. I greatly appreciated his thoughtfulness. The fan helped me sleep a bit. I'm disappointed because my son lives 10 minutes from here. I had planned to stay often in the future, but I can't handle uncomfortable temperatures. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, but my visit was miserable. We are here to take my child for surgery at Nationwide Children's this morning. We will be making several trips in the future. I will be considering other facilities since stays are out of pocket.
