Fairfield Inn & Suites Athens

This was a great place to stay. Very good breakfast for the value, good for families, okay indoor pool, and very nice and helpful staff. We needed to print a parking pass for our college visit and they helped my niece figure it out. If we return to the area, we will be sure to stay here again.

Me and my family came to town for a baby shower from NY which we drove all night to get here. I had made reservations at a different hotel because I was told I could get early check in since we wanted to freshen up before attending the event. When we got here, the desk clerk at the other place was very rude and didn’t want to accommodate me and said they never do early check in no matter what and the other person I had talked to always does that without permission and there was nothing she could do. I got on Expedia and made one at Fairfield and came right over and they were so friendly and helpful and was able to get me a room right away. They were even nice when I came down later that night and asked about adding an extra night onto my stay. This will definitely be where I will stay if I am ever in town again. I have traveled many places and I have to say this is one of the friendliest places I have ever been. Thank you so much for helping us out!!
