1. Very friendly and helpful staff. Facility in a tranquil setting. 2. Well maintained grounds. 3. Surrounding area gorgeous; located in Great Smokey Mountains. 4. Christian feel with a family safe and friendly atmosphere. 5. Boat tour relaxing, informative amongst a serene setting on the lake. Improvements: 1. Garbage dumpster in area where guests arrive and depart. Dumpster overflowing with trash. 2. Large amount of hair and dead bugs in the pool. 3. Non lakeside of hotel views unappealing 4. Better coordination with free breakfast which was included in the room but required inquiry and made us feel awkward. Overall an excellent experience; we plan on returning in the fall.

The hotel was largely empty. Despite this, the staff placed a family with a newborn infant in the room adjacent to ours (instead of spacing us out) where we had to listen to a screaming baby through the walls for close to an hour as we tried to sleep. It was an unnecessary impediment to our enjoyment after a long day of travel. If the hotel had been more full, I could understand it. But, it was virtually empty. Despite this, the hotel has a very pretty setting.

Clean, quiet comfortable hotel for a weekend family getaway. The staff let us check in 2 hours early & breakfast was included. Being on the lake was great!!
