Best Western Plus Burlington

Typical room for this chain, room a bit dark w/ dark colonial style furnishings. Liked the citrus smell hair products but extremely hard to get out of the little bottles. However, the hidden gem of this hotel is the central covered outdoor courtyard/patio next to outdoor pool. Tons of patio seating and landscaping all decorated w/ C’mas lights. Deapute chilly temp, we sat outside there to eat. Equally nice is the warm inviting breakfast dining room w/ fireplace just inside the patio. Plenty of seating, well appointed and brkfast was great. Makor kudos for having TWO waffle irons and on a separate table so as not to have waffle waiters blocking flow of buffet traffic. Finally a hotel that gets it right! If you dont care about a room that is a little out of date, this is a great place just off the freeway, easy drive to Elon Univ or for a bunch of family or friends to congregate for multi days and take advantage of the common areas. Also a restaurant on-site

This property has huge bed bugs and is absolutely disgusting! I am currently waiting for a refund but we will see what happens! I had to leave late at night with my kids because i refused to sleep there!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is my home town. I have watched this Best Western stand the test of time. It is nice to stay here when coming back home to visit friends and family!!

It was so horrible I couldn’t sleep it was disgusting and the pillows were made of plastic like if I was a toddler or a criminal so horrible and there was in the hall trash and food and dirty diapers and the smell was so horrible I will never ever stay there

My kids were disappointed because pool was close on a sunny Saturday. Not information about pool closure when booking. Dropped used towels on hallway as advice at front desk for replacement but we never got new towels!

The hotel was very convenient to the Elon University campus & served as a "host site" for Elon families during move-in weekend. Good value & courteous, professional staff throughout the hotel. The onsite restaurant (Grill 584) was delicious (huge dinner portions & amazing desserts, but suggest sharing). There is a lovely courtyard by the pool that is great for socializing/relaxing with a cocktail. Only 2 things I would change are: 1) The double occupancy rooms have full/double beds rather than queen-sized, which wasn't as comfortable sleeping for 2 average adults sharing the bed. 2) The walls seemed to be rather thin, meaning that we could hear our adjacent neighbors on both sides all evening long. One kept the TV on all night, every night & it was clearly audible within our room. I'm not one who particularly needs quiet, so for it to be bothersome, it was a notable amount of noise.
