We were very comfortable staying at the Marriot in Lake George. The room was perfectly clean and ready on time. The food in their restaurant was tasty, we had breakfast and dinner at Charlie’s. Our waitress (wish I could remember her name) was so attentive to our 3 young children and their needs. When our 2 6 year olds were sad that their mommy’s drinks were prettier than theirs, the waitress brought them Shirley temples for free! It was slow season so we didn’t have to share the pool with many people. We did wish the pool were about 5 degrees warmer though. The kids didn’t mind obviously but my friend and I cringed when we got in. Overall would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay right on the Main Street of Lake George. Walking distance to many shops and attractions was a plus!

We had several broken items in one of the rooms and we did alert the front desk to prevent any further issues at checkout. Our first night in the hotel was good, but on Friday after our family checked in to our second booked room, the experience got much worse. My sister requested additional bedding and pillows to accommodate her four person family. The rooms we booked were listed as having full sized pull out beds but they were twin sized. The mattresses had mold and stains on them so we requested a roll away, which they don’t have. Our solution to ask for sheets to cover the dirty pull out mattresses and enough pillows to allow for one per person were not unreasonable yet we were not granted that request without being treated poorly and rudely. Upon checking out, we alerted the front desk to an issue which was extremely unsettling and unsanitary and they offered us a complementary cup of coffee. We were willing to look past the previously mentioned issues but a dirty pair of women’s underwear left in the closet shows a lack of regard for cleanliness and customer service when we informed them of the issue. All of the issues we had could have easily been solved but instead the hotel chose to do nothing for us. Their lack of regard for us put a massive damper on our trip and made our stay extremely uncomfortable.

I had party of three and booked two rooms with balcony and lake view. Everything is exceeding my expectation. If I have to say something bad about this hotel, just one thing the shower water pressure is kind of low. I still give the highest rating to this hotel and I will definitely recommend to my friends and family.

Beautiful spacious room. However we watched from the pool area with green water....we didnt swim it looked disgusting...as people both adults and children ages under 4 supervised by adults played on the equipment like monkeys. The exercise ball got sucked into the treadmill and jammed. A child about a year old was on the treadmill as a woman started hitting buttons....just ignorance. Im surprised someone didnt get hurt. I reported the jammed ball in the treadmill to the front desk staff and they just shrugged it off.at 11pm there was a band pounding nearby and none of us cpuld sleep. Very disapointed and we live 20 mins away but wanted to play tourist in the village. Never again.

Great for families with plenty of space, easy parking, walkable area, strong wifi, clean/fresh rooms and friendly staff. Out of four hotels stayed on our recent trip, this one was the most pleasant surprise and also the most affordable.

Front desk staff was adequate but not super friendly in general. I called from the room once with a request and the person that handled it was a little less than. We thoroughly enjoyed our room, plenty of towels and washcloths, updated decor, and clean. The rooftop was a cool feature that was a great photo op. My children enjoyed the pool and I liked that there were ample towels available right there. Pizza delivery was able to come right to our room door. Very convenient.
