Lakefront Terrace Resort

Pleasant service and maintained outdoor property. Room was a let down. Superficially clean (vacuumed floor, beds and bathroom neat). However we quickly learned the floors, while vacuumed, were not washed (wiping up spilled water turned the cloth black). Areas that are not really seen by guests, like behind the door, around the night table, the ceiling) has dust, bugs and webs. Bathroom floor was very water damaged. Service was good in the very few interactions. Property was kept tidy. The pool and beach were nice but rules were not enforced by staff (children running, tubes in the pool, jumping…which were an issue for us because it was dangerous for our 3 year old in the pool at some points). We did not bring our issues to the attention of the staff. It is a simple family type hotel

Great location, excellent view. Very convenient. Rooms needs a lot of fixing, especially the bathrooms. Paint peeling off the walls. Very strong order. Other than that, overall good experience with family.

Pro is that parking was easy and only minutes from Lake George main strip. Facility is old and there was obvious water damage throughout the room. Also killed 3 baby cockroaches. Luckily, we only stayed one night.

Nice family property old school motel charm with great Lake views

I liked the proximity to the lake. The outdoor area was also nice for families. The playground could use an upgrade.

For the amount of money spent per night the rooms and balconies could be much cleaner. If you like feeling like you are living in a spiderweb then this is the place for you! The pool is ok when not overrun by a bunch of kids playing their sh*t music. The bartender Jimmy is awesome though and the private beach is pretty cool. PS They dump the septic tank multiple times a day Uncle Eddie style!

Nice family place

Balcony floor tiles need to be cleaned or pressure washed? They may need to hire a service that does something like that possibly that specializes in outdoor building maintenance? And, we understand that they are exposed to all weather events, leaves falling, bugs and previous families in the rooms but they to be occasionally given a heavier cleaning. The plastic chairs are pretty comfy and table are clean on our balcony.
