What an awesome hotel! We decided this trip to drive rather than fly & were so glad we did. LaGuardia Marco was beautiful, the staff were extremely helpful, and the entrance welcoming. We stayed 5 days/4 nights & found the room price to be exceptional. The room was very clean & spacious enough for my husband & me. The housekeepers were very helpful & gave us extra towels, washcloths & room amenities when we asked for them with no hesitation. The king size bed was extremely comfortable & we slept like babies every single night. We decided to have dinner at the hotel restaurant, the Magna Ristorante. We were amazed at the excellent menu, food & service. Absolutely the best price & our meal was authentic Italian & excellent. The parking was with a valet service & they did a fantastic job to ensure our vehicle wasn’t damaged in any way. When we were leaving, the clerk behind the desk asked if we’d enjoyed our visit at their facility. And of course we told him it was one of the nicest places we’d ever stayed. When we make our next trip to New York we will definitely stay at the LaGuardia Marco again.

This hotel is absolutely awful… management and staff are downright liars. Checked in and had to immediately check out due to a family emergency as a family member was rushed to the hospital back at home which is 2 hours away. When calling back even after describing our situation to the manager and staff they claimed they had no recollection of us checking out, claiming during one conversation that they did not receive our room keys and we never checked out and during another conversation that we checked out the next day. Complete liars, had absolutely no regard for the fact that we had to rush home to our family member in ICU and missed our entire trip, yet still charged us because we “never notified them.” Not only is this hotel located in one of the sketchiest neighborhoods I’ve ever seen, but it is also run by liars with absolutely no care for their customers whatsoever. DO NOT STAY HERE!!

I am grateful I was able to check-in early. To that, thank you. However, the front desk clerk immediately started telling me that I booked through Expedia and that I should have booked through the hotel directly because I would get 10% off and breakfast included. I was confused because when I booked on hotels.com breakfast was listed as included. Clerk goes on to show me my paper reservation throuhg the hotels paperwork and compares another one where breakfast was included. I am not sure where the discrepancy occurred but it was frustrating and wasted my time to get it sorted out. Anyway, we get checked in and are on our way. The room was comfortable, clean, and included wi-fi. Wi-fi was a little touchy to get going but I got it figured out soon enough. Props to hotels.com customer service. I got on a chat with them and about 50 minutes later the hotel called my room to say that my reservation had been upgraded for breakfast and to collect my breakfast vouchers. After that, no issues. The hotel was in a decent part of town, about a 10-minute walk to the subway station and then about a 40-minute ride into manhattan. P.S. If you didn't know, hotels.com is part of the Expedia family. I was not aware of this and was very confused when the front desk clerk kept telling me I booked on Expedia when I very clearly booked on hotels.com
