Comfort Inn

A clean, quiet inn with a friendly staff that was in a convenient location for my family visit. No frills, but perfectly pleasant stay.

We were staying for 4 nights due to a family funeral. We booked 3 rooms. Upon check in the staff was very kind, pleasant, helpful. The hotel was not in very good shape. Not very clean. Our bathroom ceiling must have had a pretty significant leak at some point- very poor repair job and lots of mold in ceiling. When we first opened the room door we immediately smelled a foul odor. We figured out it was actually the water which was brown- from the tap and shower. Toilet water also brown. It seemed to get clearer after quite a long time running but still pretty gross. The only nice thing about this stay were the employees- I wouldn’t stay here again nor would I recommend it to anyone else.

Truly enjoyed our stay. Bisited family and pla. On it again.

Was visiting family, had 2 queen beds. 1 of the beds was dirty with white, hard , stuff in the bed. Not sure what to call it. Told the staff who informed me that my room was cleaned even though it wasnt as I was in it all morning. Than told me the cleaning staff was gone for the day. When I came back that evening, I was told cleaning staff inspected the room but obviously they didn’t because the sheets were not changed which I asked for, the garbage was not emptied. I decided to leave early & thats when I was offered another room. No thank you! Would definitely not stay there again & do not recommend

This is a very clean quiet hotel. It looks new or recently updated. The beds & pillows were comfortable & clean. The front desk person was warm & very welcoming. The location seems a little obscure, but we have a family member who’s been admitted in a rehab in Pawling, and this was one of the few nearby hotel options which we preferred over the local motels being more comfortable familiar with the Comfort Inn brand. Though it wasn’t fancy, the pricing was reasonable compared to everything else & we weren’t disappointed. The continental breakfast was nothing to brag about, and it was completely self serve including use of the waffle irons. (The waffles were actually pretty tasty) So don’t expect hot eggs or breakfast meat, but sausage egg & cheese sandwiches for the microwave…even vegan ones). I’d stay here again given the overall experience.
