Ethan Allen Hotel

We requested a crib and received email confirmation. We didn’t arrive until 11 pm and were told it should be in our room. After calling down until 1 am, we were finally told that they couldn’t locate a crib, and that this was our problem. Do not stay here if you have babies.

Very comfortable and clean hotel in Danbury. We have stayed before due to family in the area. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff is very accommodating.

Disappointing to say the least and certainly a PR embarrassment if in fact the hotel is owned by the Ethan Allen furniture company. Facility looks like it was last updated in the 90's. Rooms were dirty, dusty and service was less than willingly helpful. Pool area was littered with other peoples garbage that was not thrown away and towel bin near pool was empty. Choose another area option if in Danbury and in need of a hotel. Lastly, I am a Marriott Ambassador Elite member so I stay in hotels frequently for work. Only selected this hotel with my family as it had an outdoor pool.

Overall our stay was very nice. We are a family with a toddler who was able to sleep on the pull out couch. Something that bothered us was that we called and were told we could check in at 3pm. We arrived at 5pm and were told no rooms were ready so we would need to wait 30 minutes. With a tired toddler that was rough. When we went back to see if a room was clean & ready after 30 minutes the manager had to check and gave us a room. I would have thought the manager would have stayed on top of the rooms being cleaned and notified us once one was clean but instead we had to go back up for him to look back into it. This was the only issue, and again, very minor. The hotel felt safe, was clean, and in a nice area. I would stay here again.

Drove 6 hrs, couldn’t get room until 7 - checked in 9:30 p due to family function. Dirty tub. Hairs in bathroom. Antiquated gym. Deceptively named Ethan Allen as if nicely decorated. Cheetos and wine stains on lobby couches and tables. Sorry in all public spaces.

Great stay after a family wedding. Came back and hung out at the bar. Staff was pleasant and friendly. Rooms very clean and comfortable.

First room smelled like urine and was changed. Second room the carpet was so dirty, I would not let my children walk on the floor without shoes. Stairwell carpet was also dirty.

Always stay with them when I travel to Danbury not expensive very clean really big hotel for u to explore clean pool family friendly hotel just wish they had free breakfast

We really like the mini suit with the 1/2 wall for families.

They allowed us to have a very nice family party. Most people were friendly and the food was good. The bartender however was not very nice. And there were some super loud noises in our hotel room.
