Property was being renovated but it didn’t affect our stay. Convenient location to downtown. The staff was super nice and helpful. The breakfast was very good which isn’t always the case in other hotels we have visited. We would recommend this hotel to our friends and family.

What a cool inn with plenty of charm reflecting the area's unique southwestern character! This is not your cookie-cutter modern hotel, so don't expect that. What you can expect is a clean and well-kept facility in a location that is great for exploring this capital city on foot. My room was a junior suite, which included a gas fireplace and lots of space, including an office work area. Very comfortable. FYI, this inn is mostly one level, but my particular room did have another guest room above it on the second level. If any noise from above bothers you, (e.g. footsteps/talking), you might opt for a regular room instead of the junior suite. The background noise was minimal for me and not a problem.

I've stayed here numerous times and have loved the family feel about it. Now that its been sold it has lost that magic touch. Nobody goes out of their way to make it special for you. We arrived after a 7 inch snowstorm. Nobody shoveled the parking lot. We arrived a week later to stay here again and still- no shoveling. The snow was still there.

Nice, historic venue. Breakfast burrito buffet was amazing. The junior suite room had a corner fireplace (which would be really nice during a colder season). Their cable package needs to be upgraded, but we weren't in Santa Fe to watch TV.

Check-in at this historic property was a breeze, and our stay just kept getting better. Without exception, the staff was incredibly cordial and unbelievably helpful. We had a number of unique requests during our Holiday Weekend stay that would have been easy to ignore, but staff said YES to each one! Amy, the manager was perhaps the most helpful. When my wife became ill with a sinus attack, Amy even offered to check in on her while I attended a workshop! Later, after we had checked out, my wife realized she’d left her favorite personal pillow in the room. Once again, Amy went out of her way to assist by visiting the housekeeping room to retrieve the wayward bedfellow. But it wasn’t just personnel that made our visit spectacular. A complimentary full buffet breakfast was included in the price of our stay. I’m not talking about one of those meals that uses protein pretending to be bacon and eggs, but the real deal! This property is a throwback to a bygone generation of motor lodges where the customer is king, and where customer service is Mission One. Our room opened directly to the outside which brought back lots of fond childhood memories. The decor is very much in sync with the age of the inn, and that’s just what we wanted. Don’t think for a moment that the Old Santa Fe Inn is a run down, dilapidated property. It is a perfectly preserved time capsule. It was meticulously cleaned and very well maintained. Book your stay. You won’t be disappointed!

We are a family of three on a road trip through the SW. Stayed here one night and wish we had more time to stay longer. Very convenient as it’s only a 10- min walk to the plaza and there are many shops and food eats nearby. Quiet and safe location. Free parking. Breakfast was scrumptious and eat all you can eat. Friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely stay here again if my travels bring me to Santa Fe again.

The junior suite that we booked was very spacious. The rooms were cleaned every day and the staff was pleasant and able to assist with any questions. The internet was not working in the rooms so we had to go to the office to use theirs.
