Hotel LBI

The hotel was truly five star- the staff were professional and extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming! Having two young children with us was fearful but it turned out to be an incredible getaway! Thank you, will be returning a sharing with friends!

It was an amazing overnight getaway from New York . Everything is perfect! It’s just little loud in our room where kids are running around . Otherwise every one goes above and beyond ! Jim in the front desk was a plus !

I completely appreciate and understand that this is a family-friendly hotel but it was treated like a playground and water park. If you are expecting to enjoy the pool, hot tub, or any of the “common areas” you’ll likely be disappointed. They were packed with children running and shouting at all hours, including running around on the roof into late hours of the night which you can hear through ceiling / walls. After realizing I would not be able to use the pool or hot tub, I hit the gym and brought a towel from my room because there were no exercise mats. The floor was covered with dust, sand, dirt, and hair so the towel I brought in the room became very dirty after a 10 min workout with some floor work. There are wipes in the fitness area so and I understand those who use the space are expected to wipe down the

More than what I expected! The small kitchenette that is included in the room was a plus, especially with kids. The walk-in shower is always a favorite for me. The heated pool! The kids were happy with the pool. The hospitality was great. I will book a weekend getaway there again. Especially in the summer.

Beautiful room with plenty of space and a full kitchen. The pullout couch was comfortable for our child. The facilities, pool, restaurant,and bar were great! We went a week before Christmas and the hotel was decorated beautifully and it was pretty quiet which was also nice! Only downsides...coffee machine in our room didn't work. We told the hotel and they said they'd look at it when they cleaned our room, but nothing got fixed or changed. Lots of construction around the property.

Great place to visit with a couple or your family!

Hotel is modern. 20 minute car ride to Beach Haven where the action is for the kids(Fantasy Island, restaurants). Pool is nice. Accommodating transportation to the beach a 4 minute drive. We checked in early which was nice but room was facing pipes. Asked to change rooms with a more airy view but was told no. I know there were unoccupied rooms so that was poor customer service. Car valet guys very nice and on the ball.

Our family had a fantastic stay at the Hotel LBI. Staff is kind and helpful. The free valet is such a perk, and when you need your car, getting it is quick and easy unlike at other hotels. The beach shuttle is fantastic and prompt — so nice to pop into an air-conditioned shuttle after a long day at the beach. The pool and hot tub area is beautiful, and the pool bar is great. The gym is small, but has everything you really need for a vacation workout. Beach chair rentals were super handy and the shuttle guys will help you load them in and out of the shuttle. Did I mention free hot coffee every morning? Just ask for a cup of ice and you can make it iced. :) A few tiny things I think would be helpful to know before you go: this hotel is in an area that is technically walkable, but not bike-or pedestrian-friendly in that there are no bike paths and many roads have no sidewalks. I also think it's helpful to know that, even if you book a suite for 4-5 people, the hotel will only give you 2 beach passes per room. The front desk say that the beach guards won't give you a hard time for this, but that wasn't our experience; the guards said that the hotel should give one pass per person. Recommend keeping cash with you to buy extra day passes if you're pressed to. Lastly, the hotel didn't have non-dairy milk for morning coffee, so maybe plan to bring your own if you need it. None of these things really took away from how great our experience was, but I think they're helpful to know.

The hotel is beautiful but we probably wouldn’t stay again. The walk to the beach is not a nice walk, you are basically walking alongside a hwy with limited sidewalks. They do run a shuttle so that is an option. The valet is nice but I would rather park my own car when I am going to be in and out often. The pool are is fun for little ones, my kids were too old for it. They had a better time at The Shell. Beautiful place, not a great location.

The Hotel was beautiful. As far as our stay with our 3 young kids, they loved the pool, easy shuttle to the beach (3 minute drive), and food choices available at the hotel to limit extra driving. We ate at each food location in the hotel and thought the food was great.
