Holiday Inn Express and Suites North Brunswick, an IHG Hotel

Delicious daily breakfast. Hot coffee always available with hot cocoa mix to make a mocha coffee drink. Toilet paper replenishment readily available. Easily accessible to family addresses nearby. Family-oriented facility. Our daughter enjoyed working out in the gym. We were not ready for the indoor pool at this time.

Was not advised at booking or at check in that the e pool was closed. My toddler was very upset as we booked at this resort for the indoor pool

We had a wonderful stay with great view . Warm reception by staff and clean environment for good relaxation for a family vacation.

The staff was very nice and helpful, I believe they are short staffed (who isn't) but if you need something, just ask and they will get you more towels, etc. No complaints about the rooms or breakfast, it was quiet, everything worked, no tv complaints or hot water issues that I read in other reviews. Pool was very warm and usually empty which was great for our family. Other guests were fine. I wish I had known the area better, as the traffic was a bit of a hassle and things that were 15-20 miles away took the better part of an hour to actually get to, but that's on me.

My family and I had a great stay, as the hotel is in a perfect location to visit to our relative/friends within minutes. Our hotel room was clean (and we enjoyed the Dove products), spacious, and the hotel staff was very friendly and professional. The hotels is close to some of our favorite restaurants for dining, and shopping is nearby. We really enjoyed our stay and will stay at this hotel every time we travel to this location.

While the property was easy to get to, looks good and everything functioned, we had a major problem occur! The PROBLEM was that at 12:30 am in the morning of June 19, another family checking in was issued keys to our room. We were awoken by another family using working keys to enter our room while we were asleep. Let me make sure this is clear: WHILE WE WERE ASLEEP, ANOTHER PARTY WAS ISSUED KEYS TO THE ROOM WERE ASLEEP IN! Luckily my wife had set the "chain" (it is a metal bar) so they could only open the door a couple of inches. I went to the door and closed it. The people on the other side were very alarmed. I told them the room was occupied. They said the front desk said, "room 418". THAT WAS OUR ROOM! I told them to go to the front desk to straighten it out. 5 minutes later OUR ROOM PHONE RANG. Obviously, the front desk did not believe the other guests and felt the need to verify by calling us. AT THIS POINT, THE KIDS WERE FULLY AWAKE. We have 2 kids on the spectrum. Anxiety is a challenge. Now I am having to explain why we are safe in the room that someone else just tried to enter while we were asleep. I don’t know what to say or how to respond. Obviously, it was a major staff screw-up. One that makes me question management and staff training.
