Homewood Suites by Hilton Bridgewater/Branchburg

This has to be one of the best hotels we have stayed with for a sports travel tournament. The staff was lovely, including the manager. Everything was extremely clean and the outdoor patio was such a nice addition reason I didn’t give it a five, is because the breakfast is absolutely horrible. it sounds like it should be good, however, there’s not much fresh fruit and what there is is not good quality. Even the waffles, the kids didn’t want because they are not even cooked fully through. However, with Dunkin’ Donuts, being five minutes away, this does not deter me from staying there again.

We stayed here for a baseball tournament at Diamond Nation. It was close to the fields and we loved the suite style accommodations for our family of four. HOWEVER, I was completely turned off by an employee following me down the hallway and confronting me in front of my children and husband stating that I was rude. What she was referring to was when I passed by the front desk I apologized to the associate at the front desk for not being able to hear him during the check-in process because the volume in the lobby of two employees talking to a guest was extremely loud. As I passed the front desk on our way in with our belongings, I apologized to the associate and said, "So sorry I could not hear you. It was very loud." This prompted the employee to follow us down the hallway and confront me at the elevators in front of my family. She continued to be very hostile as we boarded the elevator, shouting at me. I was taken aback that a hotel employee would do this and it left a sour taste in my mouth all weekend. Though we liked staying at the facility with the other baseball families, not sure we would pick this establishment again.

Frustrated, because i reserved a suit with 2 bedroom but when i check in they give me a suit with only 1 room with out comunication after the check in inwent to buy something but went i in to the room surprise only one bedroom, i wen to the front desk and the lady in the front said we dont have a suit with 2 bedroom later she said we have but is not for rent always expedia did the same mistake later said all the the suit with 2 bedroom are full the offer me later another room but was to far of the 1st one and iwas with my childrens how i can leave my children alone expedia called them and they said they was overbooked.

I like the lobby and homey and excellent for family gatherings

Excellent Top-Notch Hotel for a rural area. My husband and I were "back home" visiting family and friends and our choice of this hotel was absolutely the best. Staff was friendly, kind and highly experienced. All areas of the hotel were clean and no chemical or stuffy odors in hallways.

Even though the pool was closed, they had a nice outdoor basketball court for the kids to enjoy. Also, the staff was excellent!!

I was in town for a brief family event and chose this property for its proximity and price. having a little kitchen and living room in your room makes a huge difference in comfort. it's spacious and there was everything I needed like plenty of towels, a super comfy bed, and linens, plates, utensils, and even food storage containers. the continental breakfast was tasty eggs, fresh slices of bread and pastries, yogurt, fruit, and fresh coffee. I was also able to easily park at an exit right down the hall from the room. if you want a peaceful and comfortable place while traveling, choose this one

The hotel is clean and very spacious with the kitchenette. It is an excellent place for a family vacation. The staff are friendly. Early check in may not be accomodated before 1:30 pm

Honestly this was one of the worst places I’ve stayed. Cleanliness was fine. They have a beautiful outside with a fire pit that was broken and couldnt be used. Wanted to utilize the outside at night atleast and have ice cream and was told the outside closes at 9 and we had to go inside. Meanwhile there was a party occurring in the lobby so you were just forced to go back to your room. Tried to use the pool and heard it was closed so we asked an employee in the hall and he said no it’s open till 10. Brought the kids upstairs to get changed, went back down and couldn’t get into the pool room with the key. So we went to the front desk and she said sorry, it’s closed for maintenance. Basketball court was on site as well which gave the kids something to do and asked the front desk for the ball it was 9:45am. They have quiet time outside till 10 because of the way the hotel is designed. It gets too noisy. I understand to an extent and things happen but when I spoke to the manager when I arrived back at home there was nothing she could do and she wasnt helpful at all. Not to mention I waited on hold for well over a half hour to speak to her. I’d spend you’re money at a better hotel.

First I want to say every employee I spoke with and interacted with, both prior to and during my stay, was very kind and patient and open to my questions and issues. The problems with the property to me seem more to do with overall management issues. The hotel was definitely understaffed (they said they were fully booked but only had two employees on site). I hadn't noticed that the pool was still closed due to COVID changes/issues and that's on me. It was on the hotel's main website but not noted on Expedia. The next two issues are somewhat safety related for my toddler. I had requested a pack and play/crib for our stay. I know it's never guaranteed but I've also never had it be an issue previously. We re-requested the crib upon check-in/arrival and the staff were unable to locate ONE of the two cribs they had onsite. Luckily we always travel with a backup sleep plan but this could be a major issue for others and depending on the child. We also noticed upon arrival that one of the table legs in our kitchen area was taped up. Figured out the leg was totally loose and coming apart when my toddler ran into it later in the afternoon. We went to the front desk about this as well and while they tried to locate a replacement - we never received one so basically had to be super vigilant with an excited toddler. Wasn't too big of an issue because our stay was less than 24 hours but would be annoying if we had stayed multiple days.
