Comfort Inn & Suites Dover-Portsmouth

We were in town for a family wedding and needed a place to stay. Our original lodging plan didn't work out and we needed an early check in. "D" at the front desk was extremely helpful and made our stay so much better!

The beds are hard. The tv had very limited channel selections. The duvet blankets had black stuff on them. The pool is not clean, you can see the grime above the water line all around the pool. A child vomited around the pool area and no one cleaned it, even when told to the front desk clerk and it was left over night for someone else to clean in the morning. It was not a good stay this time around.

Convenient and a perfect stop for our family, rooms were clean and spacious and staff was helpful and always available. Breakfast was good. Would stay again.

The staff AREN’T family friendly. Would NEVER recommend this place.

The hotel is conveniently located, well maintained and has a personable staff. It was good for a quick visit for a family occasion.

Pool area gross (walls peeling, band-aids around pool, dirty) - hallway smelled on second floor because people smoking and cooking in rooms and leaving doors opened (complained to front desk nothing ever done) - if you have small children not the place for you we were there when construction crew was staying there tons of drunks load splashing and jumping in pool no regards for small kids and staff walked in numerous times placed clean towels down and walked out without saying a word even though clearly marked no jumping or horseplay. The two cleaning people super friendly and nice, breakfast lady very nice and did her best even though food supply was limited. Not worth the money spent at all. Plenty of restaurants and shopping near by so that was good. Ask for room in back of building front of building to noisy with road right there.

It was fine for a one night stay. The drawbacks were slow internet, pool closed for maintenance which the kids were looking forward to using and even though the beds were queen, they seemed smaller than a regular queen.

Had a great stay will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family.
