I booked the Mirage for a business trip to attend InfoComm2024 and as my son is very interested in AV technology, I decided to bring him with me. My wife is working in the same industry and naturally, we would hope to have a wonderful business trip there in Las Vegas while we could also enjoy some family happy time. However, just a few days before our trip, I learned that my mother passed away in another country and therefore I cannot make it while my wife and son were still going. After a long trip from Atlantic Canada, my wife and son finally arrived the front desk of the hotel. As it was a sudden family tragedy, I was in completely chaos and I did not change my name to my wife’s name. When my wife was attempting to check in, she was told her name cannot be found. They had to stand in the front desk where none helps them. When booking the hotel, Hotels.com did not ask me to provide another name and even though my wife had all booking information, the hotel still refused her for checking in. That was some horrible experience and I will never ever consider Mirage in my life time. Eventually, my wife called in the mid of night in my time zone and I had it sorted out from my end. Cannot Mirage make a quick call to Hotels.com to find this booking? Can’t Mirage offer a little more help? Unfortunately, it didn’t. I am very disappointed and my wife and son suffered from this non-helpful attitude.

My family and I loved staying at the Mirage Hotel. Beds were so comfortable, room was always super clean, and staff were very kind and professional. Hotel offered a lot to do as well including shopping, gambling, watching a show, and swimming. Also had great restaurants. So sad it is closing this summer!

Most of the staff was great and our stay was relatively peasant, short of the couple fighting secuirty in the hallway and causing some commotion (security and management actually handled this very well). The rooms definitely have some wear and tear: grime in the shower heads and part of the bathroom, worn out rugs, and terrible pillows, etc. The pool is great though and my kids had a blast hanging out there all day. I'd say its a good hotel, but nothing extraordinary

I’ve stayed at the Mirage several times and have never been disappointed! The rooms are great and the bedding is very comfortable! I love the “Pantry” for breakfast. The food and especially the staff are so welcoming each and every morning! The “Still” as well is a great eatery for lunch and dinner or to meet family/friends for a drink! In addition, “The Center Bar” is great to listen to live music! To be honest I am unhappy that the Mirage will be converted to a Hard Rock property as it has been an icon of the LV Strip!!!

Long line for check in. Ordered a baby crib and after an hour and half I am still waiting to writevthe review. They are saying it is a 4.5 starts hotel but 2 starts it more than enough.

It was our first time in Las Vegas with our two children. We chose the Mirage because it was praised as a kid friendly resort. The day we were set to check in, I called the hotel to let them know we would be arriving very late due to our flight time, and the representative I spoke with said they would note our reservation. However, when we arrived as scheduled, they had given up our selected room with a strip view, and they had to downgrade us to a mountain view room that was an accessible room. The room itself was ok, but it lacked necessary amenities such as a fridge or coffee pot that generally come in most hotel rooms. We had requested when available our original room, but we were never given a new room although we had a 7 night stay. Housekeeping's schedule was sporadic, and some days they would arrive very late in the afternoon. We would head out in the morning and return as late as 2:30 - 3:00 PM, and the room still had not been cleaned or restocked with clean towels. In fact, two days that they cleaned, they didn't even restock toilet paper. The in room TV would cut out regularly, and stay off for lengthy periods before it would be restored. The entry door was slotted, and it did not keep out any of the outside noise in the hallway. We could see some of the rooms had their windows open, but our window was inoperable and had no way to open, and it was missing the handle.

Long-time advocates for Mirage we were surprised to check into a dirty room, a closed pool during spring break and complications checking in where we were not actually checked in and almost double charged the resort fee when we were moved to a clean room. Hallways were showing some wear and tear and towels in the room had a interesting scent we had not experienced before. Location is awesome and dining options are good. Less smoke than other hotels on the strip and family friendly and safe.

It was fine, just what I expected. The room was clean, as was the hotel. When I booked our trip, they had not announced the date of the pool opening yet. Every other year it has been before spring break, this year it is After April 1. That was incredibly disappointing to the children.

We had a very nice stay at the Mirage. Very clean. Great customer service. A very nice casino. My kids really liked the fish tank, and the water feature’s outside and inside. It was nice to be close to so many places and be able to walk around. So we didn’t have to drive everywhere. Overall, a great place to visit. We will be coming back in the future.

The staff was very nice and helpful from front desk, to the stores/restaurants, to the cleaning staff. Very convenient location. Could use an update but for as old as it is, its not bad
Not super kid friendly, but expected in vegas. Can not store anything in mini fridge or its a 50.00 fee, this was only inconvenient due to me needing to store milk.
