La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham North Platte

Very soft beds! Large family suite room was perfect for our family! Breakfast was delicious and service was amazing! Will definitely be staying at this hotel on future trips.

Breakfast was really good and the man in the kitchen was a genuinely kind man. As children came for breakfast..he helped them find cartoons to watch and personally went to each table to make sure we had what we needed. The woman checking us in the night before was also super friendly. It is a older hotel and there are a few places that needed an upgrade...however over all everything was very clean and nice!

The employees were great. I booked the room for 8 people since I’m traveling with my family. It did not fit 8 people comfortably.

When we checked in everything was fine. It was like any other hotel. But when I woke up the next morning I saw a bug on my baby’s pajamas. Upon further inspection, it was a bed bug. When I brought it to the manager’s attention she stated that “she had never seen a bed bug and couldn’t confirm it really was one”. When I asked to be refunded, she stated that I would have to go through hotels.com to get the refund. After jumping through several hoops and having the issue escalated, I was refunded $50 for the stay. I would not stay in this hotel again.

Great experience. Friendly staff. Loved the pool and hot tub. Our neighbors were not happy about rooming next to children. Great breakfast.

Our impromptu overnighter could not have gone better. It was comfortable and roomy enough for us and our five kids, great price, great options for breakfast, clean and comfortable. Thank you!

We stayed in a suite with our family. It was nice for the price. Pool was too cold, hot tub was small. The place is a little dated but clean and the staff were very friendly. Would probably stay again.

Front deak clerk bubbly and welcoming! Lobby was clean and bright. Recycling/trash receptacles were available as well for travel build up. Rooms were very nice we had the family suite with 2 double beds and 1 king. Room was a little tight coming in as i believe others experienced as the wall was marked quite a bit at lower corner but still extremely nice room more than expected for the price. Beds we very comfortable, bedding was also comfortable & smelled clean, crisp and soft to the touch. Bathroom was spacious just needing some repair but all very clean and stocked with thick, clean, soft towels, soaps. Walls did seem thin as we could hear people walking around quite a bit and outside activities as well. Breakfast staff was one gentleman exceptionally helpful with a warm & happy greeting. He was fantastic with advising where everything was. Food was make your own mini waffles, and large waffles. Both wonderful as per family. Scrambled eggs were good, my husband was hoping for omlets. Sausage and biscuits were also very good. They had fresh bananas & apples, oatmeal with toppings also available, yogurt and breads & bagels. Coffee and juices were available. Everyone enjoyed breakfast very much. If in the area again we would certainly make use of the facility. * Note we are Wyndham timeshare owners but we were Not even aware if this hotel. Would of possibly stayed at this location more if Wyndham would have made this known. Overall we were satisfied with our stay.

Amazing breakfast and wonderful, friendly and helpful staff. Would have preferred at least queen beds but ended up with 2 doubles which is hard for a family of four, but other than that, great hotel.
