Lied Lodge & Conference Center

Beautiful place to stay with fine dining at the property. Swimming pool is Olympic size with plenty of room for guests. Also a kiddie pool and hot tub. Lots of trail walking options and historical sites very close to the hotel.

It’s great and perfect for a family getaway.

Went to the Lied Hotel for a weekend away. Upon arriving, the property was very clean and well maintained. Check in was very easy. The staff was friendly and polite. The room was very clean and comfortable. The view was beautiful as we had a view of the J Sterling mansion at a distance. The walls were "thin" as we were able to hear the crying children next door. The food at the hotel restaurant was delicious and plentiful. The experience was that of fine dining. The restaurant staff were wonderful. Overall, we had a wonderful weekend in a beautiful hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel to others who need a weekend away.

Loved staying here as family vacation. The interior was lovely, the food was really good, I loved all the little details about the place. If the weather was better it would’ve been even better but I think cooler weather made it more quiet.

My family and I have been coming to the Lied Lodge for over 25 years. We love it. It's our getaway from Lincoln -- one of our absolute favorite places on earth. The dining options this past visit, though, were a huge disappointment. I've never seen such a 'meat-centric' menu, and for a vegetarian/vegan like myself, there was hardly ANYTHING to choose from. Also, the Timber Room used to spotlight 'Local Foods' it had sourced. We saw no evidence on the menu that the Lied Lodge is still seeking to source local products... And promoting all that meat (rather than plant-based dishes) was a shock (as well as well as a disappointment). We love the Arbor Day Foundation for its emphasis on the environment and sustainability. The dining options need to reflect that sensitivity (as it has in the past and hopefully will again soon). Thank you.

Quiet getaway with wonderful pool for our kids.

Place looks great. Staff is nice. If you seek a quiet, peaceful experience, avoid this place. Poor noise reducing insulation. You will clearly hear kids in the pool, neighbors talking and tv in adjoining rooms, talking and kids running up/down the hallway.

Great couples or little family get away quiet has a pool for the kids a bar for the adults trails to walk it was a great stay

The rooms were very small. I wouldn’t take kids to this hotel, again. It was a beautiful place, but seemed more like a “retreat” vibe. I wish the lounge was open earlier to be able to hang out at and visit.
