Wingate by Wyndham Sidney

Pros. King suite is a very nice room and the staff was prompt with requests. Nice fitness room. I had booked 2 adults and 1 children but towels were only for two people and there were no sheets for the pull out couch. We alerted the front desk and they brought the extra towels and sheets within 5 minutes. Cons Staff seems to be manning both the Microtel and Wingate so finding them was tricky. When we arrived it was 96°F outside and 84° in the hotel common areas and the AC had not been turned on in the room. Easy fix for the room but it would have nice to have had running at all prior to arrival. Also the AC was not on in the fitness room. This seems to be a common practice in the area, my guess is to save money. The pool is not a pool, it is a large whirlpool spa. If you do have kids, stay at the Microtel. The cons might seem long but the staff assistance and the appeal and comfort of the room prompts the Good rating.

During a time of stress for our family this facility was a great place to stay and let down at the end of the day. I would and actually did recommend them to someone else.

Very clean and family friendly

I would recommend this property to anyone in need of a hotel in the Sidney area. The rooms were clean, the breakfast had enough options to satisfy the entire family, the beds were comfortable and the staff was very responsive to all our requests. We felt like we underpaid for the services and amenities that were offered. Our only two complaints were the minor inconvenience of needing to wait for an elevator since one was not working, and there was only one working ice machine. Minor inconveniences I'm sure will be fixed. Nice well kept property.
