In Williston to visit family and take care of some business. Just needed a comfortable convenient place to sleep. El Rancho has been around forever. Classic Motel vibes. Rooms open directly to outdoors so it’s difficult to maintain cleanliness of carpets, especially in Williston where so many people work in the fields. I would say the room was surprisingly clean given that inherent handicap. Some elements are dated but the bathroom fixtures were obviously fairly recent. Nice soft towels, decent toiletries. Room was spacious, beds were comfortable. Breakfast was very basic but the restaurant on site is one of the best dining options in town.
