Tru by Hilton St. Charles St. Louis, MO

This is our sixth time staying at this location. It offers everything we need close to family we are visiting, convenient location, off street parking, and continental breakfast.

Property has a great location. The staff at check in was fine. However, the first morning while eating breakfast a young man was pushing a laundry cart in the lobby with red underwear and his pants way below his waist. I would expect better from a Hilton property. The next morning, there were no eggs. I mentioned it to a woman working there who immediately went in a room to let someone know. Finally a young lady came out, took the empty tray and came back with a fresh tray of eggs. As I was standing there to get the eggs, I mentioned there was no cheese to sprinkle on top. If looks could kill,I would be dead on the spot. She left without the cheese cup and came back to get it. Then she came back another time to bring the cheese. Why she didn’t do it all at the same time is beyond me. Next, as we were eating, a nice family sitting by us asked her about a walking trail. Her response was “so, I don’t live here” along with one of her looks. The couple just looked at each other like, well, excuse me for asking. I think this girl needs some customer service training. Sure would have been nice if she would have said “I’ll get someone who might know”. Lastly, while getting ready to checkout, some water dripped on the floor near our refrigerator. I wiped it up with a Kleenex and it was filthy! So,I went in the bathroom and did the same thing, filthy again! Then I walked in the room near the bed, spilled a little water and the same result. On ya, no coffee in rooms

Have stayed here before and had a great experience. This time we had a 4 night stay. The room was never cleaned one time. Had to go get my own towels. Trashes were overflowing on the property. Front desk service acted like they were doing you a favor by working. They also let a family reunion go on in front lobby and outside the property with heavy drinking. Will not choose this location again
