Don’t be deceived!!! This hotel looks nothing like the pictures. We booked this hotel for a family reunion because we were under the impression that it had a pool. Nope! They also didn’t have the reservation from someone in our group and they had to stay in the Annex building. The rooms were run down and dirty, and breakfast was never restocked even though they had lots of staff working. The whole stay was very disappointing.

I was there visiting my son on family weekend at his college. The other hotels were booked so my only option was to stay at the Bearcat Inn. My room was on the 2nd floor. The hallway smelled like something was dead in there. I guarantee you something was dead in one of the rooms! The hot water didn’t work in the sink. And you didn’t need a key to access the hotel from the side door. So I didn’t feel safe. The second night, my room key didn’t work. The lady at the front said nobody’s key worked. But she got it fixed quickly. I won’t stay there again!

When we checked in we found out the pool was not open so we had upset kids. We also learned this hotel has 2 building and we were not even staying in the actual hotel but the extend a stay behind it but they upgraded our rooms since we were upset about the pool. They dont have an elevator and walking up and down with a toddler was not always so fun. The bed was good. Room was big but bathroom was not clean and my toddler an found inappropriate adult item in the night stand. I told the manager and she just said sorry. Breakfast was simple but good. Overall we will not stay here again.
